Part 28
Raman couldn't control himself and hugged his father tight both burst into tears and poured their pain which they had hided in themselves for last four years .
After feeling Lil relieve Mr Bhalla asked
" puttar kuch kaam tha ".
Raman parted from him and straighten himself ,Mr Bhalla too composed himself .He saw Raman with hope full eyes while ,Raman wondered his eyes here and there ,thinking how to start the conversation .After much time Raman finally spoke " actually Ishita wanted to open the investigation of the matter again ."
Mr Bhalla - why she is stressing herself, tell her to concentrate of marriage. I already had spend four years like culprit, some more years of my life is left ,so bhi kat jaayenge .when my own wife and son consider me as culprit ,I don't want to prove myself innocent in front of others .
R- ( making a straight face)- I m not in a mood to listen lecture ,if you can tell me about the incident.
Mr Bhalla nodded and went to his study ,Raman was wondering where did he went ,when he saw Mr Bhalla coming with a fat file .Raman made faces and was about to ask when Mr Bhalla himself spoke " puttar this is the file of whole case ,my statement ,my PA statement, my employees statement, the investigation done by police , investigation done by my private detective and each and every detail which you want ."
Raman made a dirty face looking to the file when Mr Bhalla spoke " if you don't want you don't read ,even if Ishita will also not willing to spend that much time ,she can also leave it .
Before Raman could say anything he went to the little fridge in which his drinks were kept ,he poured his drink and spoke " till now I lived like a culprit and can also spend my left days like that only ,no one has need to prove me or consider me innocent ,my toshiji died because of me ,how can I be innocent, I shouldn't have trusted the Rajeev khanna ".
Saying so he went back to his place beside the window where he was standing earlier ,Raman was still standing on there rooted to his place , stunned listening to his father ,his eyes become teary listening to him ,he so wanted to go, hug his father and console him that why he is saying like that but he still has some ego which was stopping him to do that .Mr Bhalla didn't turned but saw him from cored of his eyes while Raman too didn't walked to him but still wanted that his father should come to him and narrate everything ,he too was looking at him .Both wanted to go to each other but non did that rather simmi entered the room and was shocked ,she stood in her place ,rubbed her eyes and saw again ,then asked " bhai you here ".
R- yes ,I wanted to talk something to him .
Saying so he walked out of the room like he was caught doing something wrong . Simmi walked to Mr Bhalla , turned him and make him look at her .
S- papa are you alright .
Mr Bhalla -(with happy tears )- nope I m very very happy ,I m very happy simmi ,dekha tune he came to my room ,he entered this room ,he was standing here .
Saying so he hugged simmi tight and spoke " puttar I want to thank Ishita".
S- first you tell me why bhai was here .
Mr Bhalla ,holding simmi's hand " come with me ,I will tell you everything on way ".
Simmi went with him ,he settled on wheels ,simmi was amazed to see his excitement as he never drives but today he was so excited that he didn't waited for driver too rather he himself started driving .He stopped in a big sweet shop , bought many sweets and then went to ishita's house , simmi was happy to see her father happy after long time . Iyers were shocked to see bhalla's at this hour,Mr iyer greeted him and took them inside .
Mr iyer - bhallaji ,you here at this time .
Mr Bhalla - I know its odd hour buy I want to meet ishita's just for a minute .
Mr iyer - okay ,main bulata hoon .
Saying so he told amma to call ishita while ishita was crying hiding herself in the bed .She was feeling very low after her argument with Raman, she was expecting him to call her but till now he had not yet called which made her more furious and sad .She so wanted to concentrate on marriage but could ,all she can recall was his bitter words ,his taunt to her about his father which was making her cry more and more .
Amma knocked the door and spoke ," ishu open the door kanna ,Mr Bhalla and simmi has come ,they want to meet you ."
Ishita was shocked listening to this ,more than shock she was worried thinking why they are here at this odd hours ,she wondered if raman us alright ,hadn't he done some blunder ,may he had scolded someone or had damaged something or mat be hurt himself ,thinking so she composed herself immediately and opened the door .She walked to the hall and saw them quizzically ,Mr Bhalla reached her ,held her hand,touched it with his forehead and cried .Simmi too started crying looking to her father's state , ishita too became teary ,her parents eyes also got moist but non knew the reason for that .
I(crying )- papa ji kya hua .
But he didn't answered and continued sobbing ,ishita saw simmi ,raising her eyebrows, simmi wiped her tears and spoke " ishita bhai he aaj papa se baat ki ".
I(smiling between her tears )- sachchi .
S- yes he went to papa's room and also talked to him .
I( to Mr Bhalla )- papaji ye to sachchi baat hai ,aap to kyun rahe hai( why are you crying papaji).
Mr Bhalla - these are happy tears ,I couldn't control my emotions. I m so very much thankful to you ishita puttar .I just can't thank you enough for doing this for me . tujhe pata hai puttar aaj Raman mere kamre mein aaya , though it was your words but he conveyed it to me ,I was crying he consoled me ,he hugged .He still has some feelings towards me .This all happened because of you ,tum hi ho meri ghar ki laxmi ,you are bring happiness and prosperity to my house .Saying so he again started crying ,ishita saw her father as she was not able to control Mr Bhalla .Appa walked to them and kept his hands on Mr bhalla's shoulder to console him , he turned to see ,appa spoke " everything will be alright bhallaji ,don't worry soon Raman will start talking to you ".
Mr Bhalla - these all is just because if ishita ,I m so thankful to you that you agreed to get your daughter married to my son .
Till they were talking amma brought water and coffee for them .Mr Bhalla was now bit ok, appa made him sit ,gave him water .Both the father's settled in couch while simmi hugged ishita to thank her .
S- thank you ishita ,I knew you can do this .
I- but I don't, we had a huge argument.
S- koi nahi ,he just can do anything for you .you know though not fully but bhai has started feeling something towards papa ,now he is not so rude .
Ishita didn't spoke anything .Mr Bhalla and simmi spend some more time with iyers ,then they went back ,giving everything they brought for them .
Mr and Mrs iyer felt bad to see such a big business man bending in front of ishita but got happy to see how they love and respect ishita .After that they all retired to their room .Ishita closed the door of her room and leaned on it ,she closed her eyes and recalled their argument and his bitter words . She was hurt with his words but his gesture touched her heart .She smiled thinking he went to talk to his father just for her .She so wanted to talk to him but at the same time she wanted him to show that she is hurt by his words .
She thought for sometimes and then send a blank massage to him .On the other hand Raman kept the file on the table as he was not interested in knowing anything about his father ,he just had done this for ishita ,he so wanted to tell her that he is sorry for his bitter words and also wanted to convey that he has talked to his father and now he has a whole fat file with him to know about the whole incident. He poured a drink for himself and went to balcony , he sipped it and was thinking about all the happening ,he then turned to see the file and wondered ,what's there in such fat file .Out of curiosity,he took the file and started reading it .He has just had read the FIR copy when his phone beeped ,he removed his spects and saw it.He smiled knowing that its from her but got sad looking to the blank massage .He thought for sometimes and then send a sad emoji to her ,she was waiting for his response and smiled looking to it ,then she again send empty massage to him ,he then send a flower bouquet to her ,she again send same massage ,he smiled and thought that she is actually too much angry with him ,he thought for a while then send folding hands emoji to her ,she shook her head and spoke " you had hurt me ,not so soon ".thinking so she send a thumbs down emoji to him ,he then send kisses emoji to her ,she blushed looking to it but again send a thumbs down to him ,he ruffled his hairs and then send a chocolate and cake emoji ,she smiled and then send a sleepy emoji .He then send some more she only smiled looking to them ,buy didn't responded .He made a restless face and spoke to himself " s**t she us still mad ,what to do ".
He then thought something and started reading his book as he don't wanted to read the file anymore ,all his mind was filled with her thoughts and he was thinking ways to woo her ,while she slept with a content smile knowing that he is guilty for his words and also she is able to fill a little gap between father and son ,she got more determined and prayed to murugan to make everything ok soon .
