23/05 - We are all broken, that's how the light gets in!!

Hey there all the lovely people.
I am as fidgety, anxious and jilted as US, no I am not taking sides, it's all part of being invested in a show. I just couldn't take my eyes of US today.



There is nothing worse than being kept in dark... the revelation often comes as a jolt, a current that runs through the body, and changes the shape of ones entire life. Everyone had their share of enlightenment, VedAnsh realize that Bhabho can only revive in her shop, Massi figures out Kanak's plan to escape, US realizes that Kanak has escaped and the biggest truth is that Kanak finds out that US is innocent and NOT involved in the shop.

The episode starts with US going to Shivji's mandir, he offers thanks for sending Kanak in his life. He knows that she is different from him, but with Time and Love, she (stone) would melt. He prays for love, trust, surrender and respect in their union --- this guy just knows how to melt people by his words, no wonder he has a direct line with God. He is just too sweet, straight and convincing that only a stone (Kanak) can say no to him. I agree he is a complex human, he gets around by his words but still it's an amazing skill. And the best part is he is Content, he smiles and talks to God. He has complete faith and is happy with himself and the decision of God.

The highlight of the episode was the fidgety fingers of Kanak and US. The nervousness, the edginess, the hesitation, the reservation... before walking in the room he adjusts he already crisp dress, he looks on his reflection and checks. He come inside and keeps the thaal and sit at the edge of the bed --- he for the first time is clueless, speechless as in how to make a conversation, he states that women love "sajna sawarna" (some words of Hindi are just tooo beautiful to be translated into English) but confesses that he doesn't know his wife's likes and dislikes. Their hands and fingers still fidgety, waiting for the next cue, as soon as he shifts to her side, she gets up and says I will be back with milk. He refuses but she insists. She tries windows and doors and escapes and US after waiting a while gets up to look for her. He doesn't find her and drops the thaal realizing that she has Gone. --- the three words "woh chali gai" his face a mask of pain.

Massi and duo, go to Kanak's bag to keep the pooja flower.. they find her real churra and realize that she made them up so that she could escape the vidhi and went to the boat so that she can escape them all.

Kanak meets up with Arvind, he brings bad news that the shop papers are real and US is innocent... Kanak gets the shock of her life, her mission to retrieve the papers and get US to justice all shattered in a blink. Arvind asks her to go to Pushkar and let everyone know the truth.
Kanak my dear -- you have escaped the cage. Your wings are stretched out. Now fly...

Precap- Kanak is at the station.. she dreams Bhabho saying you left your mission mid way and US calls from behind. She is scared and says I won't ever come to you. --- The biggest contradiction in life is the fork way on the road, from that one stop, one needs to choose from either way, not knowing where the road would take them.


We all are broken, that's how the light gets in. We make mistakes and realize the error, it's the dilemma of learning or repeating that keeps us human.

The highlight of the episode was fidgety...:):) it was giving me goosebumps...but uff she left

1. Time for Uma to realize love/rishta cannot be forced. But, I doubt he will. He lives in his own bubble.

Well I think US is acting a bit naive here...the sword off the force marriage is hanging around his head...kanak has been very clear that hat she doesn't accept this marriage...and he already has put her through enough forced reshams...he should have expected her running off...but nope the guy blinded in love and his faith, didn't consider her feelings...his fault was not to give her a choice nor time...He was to be burned...

Kanak is right in her action to run away...now her inner mind aka bhabo will speak up...and back to square one...everything for bhabo...

I don't think US is acting naive. He just got jilted on his SR 😉
Jokes apart -- yes his original sin of 'forcing the marriage' is still his only sin. The darkest deed he could have ever managed to do.
But hasn't Kanak been giving mixed signals. One moment she is happy, other annoyed and angry. US understands her situation but he doesn't realize his error of 'force' ... he did say to God today that with time and Love she would melt.
Yes he made a mistake and would pay for it dearly.

Kanak, US everyone does whatever they think is right. -- she ran off, coming back its all part of tre story.

Yes indeed a reality check episode -

1) US acknowledges his error on the circumstances of marriage but not the marriage.. it's like committing a crime and then justifying it to escape punishment. US self realization of his 'original sin' is what would awaken the essence understanding. Waise he knows everything but on matters of his wife, he is ignorant.

2) Massi is clever and cunning, but Kanak did outsmart her.. age catching up on Massi. Because she was too interested in SR, she forgot the main participant of it. 😆

3)I absolutely love your POV... love people instead of things. Use things not people.

4) Kanak will return. She was gone only for US to get a jolt of reality check -- woh chali gai. I hope he gets a trip to hell in that one hour ...

Predictions -- yes a middle man committed some fraud and mislead both parties.
Had Arvind stayed, how come Kanak would have dreamed about Bhabho and US... she needed to be alone to get delusional and make a decision.

@ yes blue, I agree she has given him mix signals...but was she not forced to do so...her priority was to run off...hook or crook...she is doing it...him telling that to god doesn't hold value...just to put him in a good light...

It's the run of the mill structure in daily shows that girl has to handle alll her problems herself even when she has a truckload of family. Kanak has two brothers who are more like friends, she couldn't even update them of her whereabouts let alone the quick sand she is stuck in.
