I am silent reader of this forum mainly because there's too much negativity here. But today I decided to comment after reading your post.
Rocky may be dumb but he does love Shivangi unconditionally. Even today when he saw her injured he was damn worried and took really good care of her.
The thing is that both RoShiv are idiots and don't know how to play a good game. But Yamini and Shesha are really good at it. They know how to manipulate people & situations and use them for their own benefit. Both RoShiv and RiVanya believe what they see with their own eyes but that does not mean that their love is any less. We do tend to believe the people who brought us up and the people who were our friends for a long time. Ritik only believed Shivanya when Yamini stabbed him and same way Rocky will also need one strong betrayal to understand that the one he worships like God is really the devil in his life.
Rocky was hesitant to betray Shivangi but Shesha convinced him using his family's name. Same way Ritik was also hesitant to doubt Shivanya but still went against her when he saw her harming his dad. So it's only matter of time before Rocky realises his so called family's true face and support Shivangi in her mission.
And for those who singing about Rudra's true love, he teamed up with Shesha to separate RoShiv despite knowing that RoShiv love each other truly and also Rocky is innocent in Shivanya's murder. Whereas Rocky was ready to let go off Shivangi thinking that she loves Rudra and also he only cared about her happiness. So if anyone is selfish then it is Rudra who tried to hurt is so-called lover by separating her from her true love.
