Rumya - 'Just Friends' !? FTW! - Page 2

I know right? Even though the scene, in itself, was nice... my mind kept rejecting it.

We shouldn't go by the words in that scene. According to me, the last scene actually showed what Rumya feel for each other. I think Rudra was never in love with Soumya. He always considered her only as his friend. It was Soumya who really loved Rudra and the pain in her voice and face in the last scene was enough to make it clear that she's trying to hiding her emotions.

But Rudra even in the last scene was not much affected with their break-up. He was sad, but there was no pain on his face. Rudra didn't behave like he's losing his love, but just a platonic friend. He was also wondering that if Soumya still takes their marriage seriously or not. But when Soumya said that it was their mistake that they thought that they can have anything more than friendship, Rudra just smiled and became cool ,as if he got relief that Soumya isn't hurt coz of him

He was happy that Soumya has any feelings for him, just like himself. But Rudra didn't realize that Soumya isn't lying.

When Rumya marriage happened, Rudra was taking the marriage seriously.That was not coz he had any feelings for Soumya. It was coz he had respect for the rituals. But after some time he again became normal and thought that it doesn't matters.

On the other hand, Soumya was cool about her marriage with Rudra and didn't took it seriously. But when Rudra was about to get married with some other girl, Soumya realized about her true feelings for Rudra. Soumya tried to come close to Rudra but he rejected her every time.

Now when she knows that Rudra doesn't loves her, she's going away from his life. So in the end, Soumya's character actually had some growth. She became more matured while Rudra is still a kid. He still doesn't takes life seriously and love means nothing for him.

Maybe the last scene would have made more sense if CVs have not wrapped it with just one scene and had given a proper closure to them by showing the feelings of Rudra and Soumya more properly.

But then, Rumya were never given a proper track or development in this show so they rushed the ending also.

Gul knows how much the audience loves Rumya, and plus Neha is a loyalist, so Gul will come up with a good track for RumYa. If Neha says she is not quitting IB, I believe her. I feel the reason the new girl is brought opposite Rudra is to make him appreciate Saumya and realize her importance. With Shivija and RiKara they had and have the love-hate between them, but RumYa's story started with them bickering but then they became best friends, so how to carry forward their story?

Also unlike Ishana, Saumya is not a potential love interest, she is Rudra's wife and that too on SP channel, I don't think with the Nayi Soch slogan the chnnel will give out the message that 'If you get married to a girl who is chubby and not weight conscious, you can replace her with a girl who is size zero'. If they do, it doesn't say much about the values the channel is always trying to inculcate in practically every show.

Also remember the initial episodes when Dadi told ShivOmRu their issues? Shivaay's was NKK which the CV's are dealing with amazingly well. Om's was that he hate liars, and he is now married to a woman whom he thinks lied to him, so his issue is also being delt with. Rudra's was about girl who aren't weight conscious, so I will give Gul some time to handle Rudra's track and deal with his issues.

You're being far too optimistic, in my opinion. Gul won't change anything unless SP forces her too. That means people need to send waves to SP not Gul. And I hope Gul faiIs and falls on her face for ending Rumya. I hope no one likes the new girl.

Jokes aside, nothing against the new actress but I prefer Neha. If the writers actually cared enough to give them a story who knows it might have done well. To file everything under friendship is a joke and a disservice to the actors (and the fans). It's her show, but they had amazing chemistry it's really a shame.

Also Neha is Gul loyalist, thats why she is not really clarifying anything regarding her track ending.

Don't know how Rudra's pairing going to be like with new girl because I have always shipped RumYa! 🥺
