Ranjib Mazumder Karan Hukku Good looks are not the only criteria to sign an actor for a role, Ekta Kapoor realised this to her dismay when she signed Karan Hukku as the lead man opposite newcomer Krystle D'souza for her daily soap Kahe Naa Kahe. Little did they know that it would be a tough task to get him to act. The actor is playing Kannav Scindia, a rich guy in the show. Says a source in the production house, "Though both Ekta and the creative team of the show took Karan for his good looks, they are in a fix now. He is very stiff and is unable to emote." Karan made his Bollywood debut with a dud, in Kya Love Story Hai opposite Ayesha Takia last year. As his film career did not take off due to his poor acting skills, he did not want to miss this opportunity. So, he went on to sign Kahe Naa Kahe Because of his poor acting skills, the creative team has devised a unique strategy. The sets of Kahe Naa Kahe have turned into an acting school of sorts as everyone on the sets is teaching Karan how to polish his acting skills. Ekta Kapoor confirms, "He is one guy who is so good looking that he just needs to brush up his acting a bit and the rest his looks will take care of!" Our source adds, "Karan was advised to enrol himself in an acting school. But he was not in a mood to go back to school. Now, the entire team helps him brush his acting skills through an interactive process. Now, most of the actors including Sudha Shivpuri, Reshmi Ghosh and the directors give him short acting lessons on how to emote. Interestingly, Karan is also enjoying the process as he is getting to know his c-actors better." Defending himself Karan says, "I am really enjoying my job. I am new to this industry and everyone is really helping me out with the expressions and polishing my acting skills. All my co-stars Reshmi, Baa and even the director is helping me. I am really thankful to them. I understand I have a long way to go."

Awww, he does need to brush up his acting skills a bit and he'll do well.

Yeah he needs to improve his expressions but i think he came a loooooooong way since the show started😳... Initially, he was really stiff but he is kinda ok, improving every day👏.

Nowadays, he is even able to emote thro his eyes which is a gud improvement... Iam sure he will improve more😳😆

Even I thought he sucks, to be very honest! Even though I think he's really good looking, he does need to brush up on his skills....so good luck to him!! I'm glad his co-stars are supporting and he is a good sport about this. I think Reshmi Ghosh is a fabulous actress even though she just debuted with kyunki saas!

hmm.. that's why they brought Naman in 😆 😆 😆 So until this guy gets his act together, we'll see more of Naman.. I aint complaining; I like Naman better 😳
