This is for laymen err us viewers, not for stars. Neither do they check nomination nor they get informed this way. Channels have several dedicated means and ways to inform them about their nominations, work schedule, invitation cards, allotted seat number, number of friends and relatives allowed. Not just SP, every tv channel's telly and BW award shows function like this. This is a very childishly ludicrous argument that she didn't know.

YHM always had mediocre TRP ,never been the top show in india - time slot given to it is an evening one which is only for housewives , apart from few fans on India forums I don't see any huge fan following for YHM or Ishra-

I have hardly seen any tracks on the show which were completely focused on Raman and Ishita and those tracks too got mediocre rating- this is the only show which has so many focus on side characters- especially Shagun is like a paralle lead on this show - Ishita is only popular as a maa for ruhi ,infact she only fits in the role of mom and now saas, romance does not suit her.

Internationally the show is only airing in few countries, while other star shows like is pyar, saaraswati chandra , diya aur bati etc are airing in more than 30 countries now-

In 2014 star did not even nominate ishra for best couple it was only after Ekta intervened they were included in the list-

This is the reason Ekta had to fix awards for Ishra in SPA as other shows like DABH And yeh rishta were having much higher trp and popularity too

YHM is better now, Adi alia / Roshi Alia are like a breath of fresh air that's why they are accepted so well, again ishra sidelined means they dont have any dedicated fans while on other old shows like sns, dabh yeh rishta generation leaps came up really late -
