From singing, hosting and acting to having his own clothing line, seems there is nothing Fahad Sheikh can't do. The actor is busy appearing in plays like Mubarak Ho Beti Hui Hai, as well as ARY Zindagi's Haya Ke Rang to name a few. In a recent online post, he mentioned signing onto a new project with Big Bang Entertainment which obviously garnered curiosity on our side so we got in touch with him to fish out more details!
While busy shooting, we managed to get a hold of him and this is what he shared,
"Yes, I have signed a play with the production company and at the moment it is titled Meri Jaan but that is not yet the final name."
Regarding the cast and director, Sheikh told us,
"The director is Ali Hassan, whose work you have seen in Muqabil and Andaz-e-Sitam. With him directing this drama, it was very excited to sign. As far as the cast is concerned, it includes Mohsin Abbas Haider, Sawera Nadeem, Saboor Aly, Qavi Khan, Noor-ul-Hassan, Asma Abbas along with others."
Under Ali Hassan's direction we are sure the script as well as the direction will be top notch. As revealed by Sheikh, Hassan mentioned,
"This drama will be a treat for all the Muqabil fans."
Discussing his role further, Fahad told us,
"The drama mainly revolves around the character played by Sawera Nadeem and I will play her step brother. It will deal with his love-hate relationship with her. He also becomes negative but then snaps back. It's a well written story which I am sure the audiences will enjoy watching."
And we are confident they will, the combination of Big Bang Entertainment and Ali Hassan for the temporarily titled play Meri Jaan could end up to be one of Fahad Sheikh's best plays.
