Today's episode was a handful, aye. Although, I commend the writers for not dragging out the gas attack like other shows would have done it.
So I need to talk about today's episode, cause when I watch it with mum, I can't really fangirl over Avni and Neil. But Neil today was ☺️
I hate Amol's ( I realised I'm gonna call him Amol until he is reformed like Avni) friend. Like Amol is annoying as he's supposed to be as per the story arc. But his screen presence is bearable. Unlike that friend's. Also I know Amol and his friend are supposed to be evil and all...but how deranged does someone need to be to a) think of the gas attack and b) get the gas bomb thingys so easily. Moving forward...🤢
Okay, so Avni really does think of Neil as her friend. Neela was concerned that stint, at the police station and with Shweta, would affect Avni's friendhsip with Neil. Avni's like...no, I know Neil. He'd let me explain.😳 Which personally I think is something we'll see in the future, going both ways (sweet and sour). Neil was legit calling her to find out why she did that, although he knows why already. The clogs on his brain when he saw Avni in the mirror.
Also I like the fact the CVs didn't use the sterotypical,,,,,girl's in danger and accidentally lets hero listen to her on the phone when he calls...scene.
I say this every episode, but Neela is such a good mother and human being. She was so concerned for Avni when she realised she was still in the house. Even that lady who's pretending to be Avni's mom is a sweetheart.
Also as an Australian viewer, can I please ask somebody if there's a certain clause in hindi serials where they have to have a certain amount of religious music or scene in the show per month? Like no hate, I understand why the scene was there, i'm just wondering though.
Moving on to Neil saving Avni. I was expecting something different when I heard that this scene was coming. When Neil accidentally calls her Juhi, I thought he would say it right at the end. But Neil interchanged saying Ananya and Juhi, a couple of times before going back to Ananya. Hats off to Zain's acting👏👏. You seriously could feel his concern for Avni.
Amol and Riya real need redemption arcs. Or atleast be more grey. Right now their characters are completely evil. I feel sorry for Riya's mom. I want to see a scene where she stands up for herself too. Also can't believe Shweta was fine with the idea of Avni dying when she found out that Avni was in danger and that Neil had gone to save her...
About the Riya and Ali scene, I have another post talking about. But its obvious that they will be the second main couple in the show. Maybe the first two to get married on the show too. Since I've noticed in Indian serials there's always two weddings, with the first wedding being of the secondary leads. I don't how I feel about this. Ali's so cute and good-hearted (also side-note but super hot), Riya better reform otherwise I don't think I would be able to handle her with him
DD coming to the audience's rescue once again and asking Neil what was important.😉😆 We know now that Neil's not completely faking the friendship. Which as an audience, we already knew but we know explicitly now that his concern was real but he's reasoning his actions on the case. Also didn't he only tell Avni about Juhi when he was drunk/high on bhaang?
Tomorrow's episode will be cute too. Neil helping Avni when she's injured, just like she did when he was injured.😳
