It is difficult to understand how
two intense characters like Maya & Samay fell in love only to fall-out later,
without getting obsessed with each other, some eight years ago!
Was it not supposed to be
Maya's first love which
failed to take her to beyhadh levels?
Did Maya accuse Samay of betrayal of her trust, at the time of their first meeting when Season 2 began?! And still he survives & continues to have access to her! The funniest part is that she was the one who
felt betrayed when they fell-out, but she used him again to plant in Saanjh's life, in London or so! Then why did she still call him as a traitor during the 'gold-fish' meeting?! Did he not successfully woo Saanjh as asked by Maya? Then why charge him as a betrayer?! Does she believe him or not?
But one thing is sure!
She trusts him more than Arjun,
even though both are believed to be loving her & are ready to do anything for her!Otherwise, why did she ask Samay to bite her neck in stead of asking Arjun to do the dirty job, to frame Ayaan?!
And she believes & even coaxes Samay to 'fix' Saanjh & give her much needed peace as she has no such faith left in Arjun!
Maya loves Arjun but does not trust him!
is it true love or just hypocrisy?Maya trusts Samay but does not love him but makes him do dirty things for her in the name of love! Is the pot calling kettle black, here?!
Who betrays whom? For maya love & trust can never co-exist! It may look very strange for normal persons, but Maya is abnormal. So
sab chalta hai! Her thoughts are alternatively dominated by strong sense of insecurity & intense passion for the same person who gives such insecured feeling!
Is it her unpredictable nature or plain absurdity? Is her willingness to work & trust with a person who betrayed her earlier, an example of sheer foolishness or just an excuse for her illogical behavior?!Maya's character is losing its charm not because of her psychotic evil nature but due to very shoddy handling of her character narrative!
