What exactly happened on that day ?

Hey,

I am new to this show and have just started watching. Can anyone of u tell what actually happened with Abeer on that day. I think in the flashback scene Amala was struggling with Abeer too ..

If anyone could please give me a littlle background of the story, I can continue watching smoothly. 😊

Abeer, Evaan, Suveer and Viraj were drunk and had drugs so they were not in their senses.

When Amla was passing by, Abeer caught her from behind. Amla bit his hand and ran away from him. Then the other 3 tried to catch her.

Amla slapped Evaan due to which he got angry and decided to rape her.

He threw her on the swing and then told Viraj and Suveer to hold her hands and tie her mouth with her scarf.

Then Evaan, Viraj and Suveer raped her.

Abeer was present there but he was not able to save her because he had lost his senses completely due to the drugs.

He then walked towards Amla. Amla saw him and then fell unconscious.

Abeer too passed out and therefore he didn't rape her.

As Amla saw Abeer before falling unconscious, she thinks he too raped her.

Abeer too doesn't remember that he didn't rape her so he is feeling guilty that he ruined her life.

he had a crush on her the first time he saw her. Then he kept thinking about her and coincidentally kept on meeting her too. When he was drugged by his friends he was talking about her and then he saw her and ran to her probably to say he likes her. Amla seeing all those drunkards got scared and naturally she didn't want to talk to him. Then he caught her from behind. His intention was not to rape her but as it happens all we're drugged and drunk one thing led to other and you know the rest.
I don't think he chased her and when his friends were raping her, he was totally stoned that couldn't probably even understand what was going on.
So, he definitely is guilty but not of rape.
Another lesson from the show is DO NOT DO DRUG.
PS. Not trying to defend Abeer. Liking the realistic story telling so far and that's why watching.
