Bahubali 2 Is Highest Hindi Grosser Of All Time

Bahubali 2 - The Conclusion (Hindi) has become the highest grossing Hindi film of all time after just two weeks as it surpassed the 374.53 crore nett of Dangal which was achieved in January this year. The film grossed a huge 141 crore nett apprx in its second week to take its total to around 386 crore nett. The weekdays in the second week were extraordinary with Wednesday even getting a boost in collections due to a holiday. The previous record for week two was 111.56 crore which has been surpassed by a huge 25%. The two week figures of Bahubali 2 - The Conclusion (Hindi) are as follows.

Week One - 2,45,00,00,000 apprx

Week Two - 1,41,00,00,000 apprx

Grand Total - 3,86,00,00,000 apprx

Dangal did gross 387.28 crore nett in all languages but that figure was surpassed by Bahubali 2 - The Conclusion in five days flat and the all languages collections till date for Bahubali 2 - The Conclusion have gone over 775 crore nett.

Bahubali 2 - The Conclusion is also the highest grosser in every circuit barring Nizam / Andhra, Mysore, Tamil Nadu / Kerala as these circuits had a very limited release as it was released mainly in regional languages there. The fair value figure for the film is 425 crore after two weeks if it had released like a Dangal, Bajrangi Bhaijaan or PK.

It seems Bahubali has crossed adjusted gross figure & footfalls of HAHK as well. 😆 Now I am wondering whether hindi version can beat the adjusted figure of Gadar & DDLJ.

Baahubali, a Thousand Crore and Counting

Ever since the Baahubali The Conclusion released, it's creating history every day in one or another regard. Not so long, just few days back on May 7,2017 it become first to gross 10 Billions globally and today is the day when countdown to, that illustrious feat in domestic arena, begins.

Just to remind you all, the previous biggest grosser in India was Dangal, just half down at 511cr, and this film known as Baahubali 2 is set to cross the double mark in matter of few hours.

At end of 2 weeks, film stands at 973 cr in India, just 27cr short of big dec-billions. Even if today it remain short of 27cr, which is pretty likely, advance sales for Saturday will be enough to have sales worth 1000 cr in India.

Unlike the same figure globally, this wasn't expected from the film in India by many, with most generous predictions going up to 900cr or so, but by the time 1st Weekend end with jaw dropping 353 cr, this one was pretty much on cards.

Splitting the Cume language wise, leaderboard will be topped by the Hindi version accounting for 56% of total sales while Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam contributing 29%, 10.5% and 4.5% each.

Unfortunately in India we don't keep track of number of people watching the film but only the rupees they earn. Baahubali The Conclusion sold an estimated 75 millions or 7.5 crores tickets at Ticket window which may be highest for this century and might become since Sholay but sadly no official claim can be made on this. Film is certain to breach that 10cr tickets milestone in India which is achieved by not more than 50 films in a single country in history of world cinema.

DDLJ adjusted net 444 cr. Gadar 468 cr.

Now even if Aamir creates a 400 crore club with a 'Bollywood' movie on a big holiday, then also will it matter when a Hindi dubbed movie has created it one year before that too on a non-holiday??

Lol, at comparing adjusted figures of films that came from a different era. Its beaten the highest grosser of today which is Dangal. so its number one now. Will be hard to beat this now. TOH has a chance only
