Why does he have to get married and spoil it all so soon?

Ranbir Kapoor and mom Neetu Kapoor recently went to London in a very hush-hush affair. Following this, reports started doing the rounds that the duo had went to the UK to meet a family for Ranbir's wedding. This news did come as a shock to everyone.

Speculations regarding Ranbir's relationship status have always been around especially after his breakup with Katrina Kaif.

Talking about it to a leading daily, Ranbir's uncle Randhir Kapoor said, "Ranbir is having a terrific time with all the success and the money he's got, and age being in his favour too. Why does he have to get married and spoil it all so soon?"

Further, the flamboyant uncle spoke about the relationship he shares with his nephew. "At times, I envy him because I was nowhere at his age"with the kind of success and moolah that he's got. He's doing very well and I'm so proud. Little ups and downs and high and low tides are there in everyone's career. This happens and it's a passing phase, so that's completely alright," said the 70-year-old.

When asked if he's happy with how the younger generation has been taking forward the legacy of his forefathers, Randhir said, "My two daughters [Karisma and Kareena] and [nephew] Ranbir are doing good job in films. They're extremely successful."

He was also asked if the constant comparison between Ranbir and his father and uncle bother him in anyway, the veteran actor said, "It's okay to being compared and I don't care, honestly. After all, there's so much talent in the family that you'll be left surprised every time. Our kids have not just surpassed us, but they're doing very well for themselves."
