I am glad I am not the only one 😆

That in my understanding would be the fourth and fifth option 😆

😆😆 yup, family planning gayee battey khaatey mein. let's have eight of those kids and then Anu's 10 income household example will come true😆😆

seriously yaar, am all for having second income unless, as u said, one's earning in line with the bill gates/tatas/birlas of this world😊 but i do not judge those who choose to stay home and devote all their time to their kids and family. at the end of the day, it all boils down to what works best for u....what gives you greater satisfaction and mental peace....but can't be having ur cake and eating it too 😛ghar per bhi rehna hai aur jam ker karcha bhee karna hai that too when other spouse has a ltd income😆

No kids were not on mind... it's more on these lines like investing in property rent it (manage extra mortage for 2nd/3rd property )... work part time after from regular job... open business in addition to regular job.

When I read the topic, I thought third income referred to the kids working as soon as they come of age. That is something I wholeheartedly agree with. A part time job, an internship to support college and bring funds to the family is a good founding block for kids.

However, having a side business or rental property. I do not think so. Firstly successful business takes time money and effort. Not all families can afford to invest their time and effort in side businesses. Kids, current jobs, family responsibilities, socialization take precedence. With careful planning and budgeting two incomes can be easily good enough.
