Here's what happened recently...

The industry was split between the favourites and foes as the warmest and thickest friends turned their back at each other over social media. When Ajay Devgn sparked an unexpected question on the friendship between his wife and director Karan Johar, no one knew the best friends were falling apart.

But the good news seems to be making its way. Well, Kajol's mother Tanuja Mukerji is gearing up for her television debut with Goldie Behl and Srishti Arya's new project Aarambh on Star Plus. With the good news making rounds, Karan Johar seems to have extended a few gestures towards the special moment for the Mukerji family.

In a recent tweet, Karan Johar sent good wishes to the show makers on the occasion of the launch of Aarambh. Even Twinkle Khanna could not resist sending luck and love to them on social media.

We hope for a happy ending between Ka-Ka!

awww, hope the besties patch up.. 😳

I know Karan has acted in an ill-mannered way, but so many years of friendship cannot be broken by a few months of differences ❤️

Shrishti and Goldie are every 40+ industry kids' childhood friends. KJo tweeted that for Shrishti. Media ko common sense nahin hai.

(Their brother Sagar is one of KJo's besties)

So according to the writer they are friends again based on a tweet that didn't even mention Tanuja? LOL seriously? And besides Karan has recently said that he respects Tanuja and Tanisha, so even if he did mention her i would read too much into it.
