Uma & kanak will have this contentions between them for awhile that he married her forcibly. Kanak, doesn't even care or remember she's promise to someone else
Uma and the 3 witches might like to forget and be like maasi, who act like kanak seduce him and force him into marriage.

I don't think it was out of line for Kanak to call them out of century people cause, for kanak this is a culture shock. That means no selfies 😆 Kanak doesn't know these people is only been 72 at best since meeting this orthodox family

Kanak is a 20 years old girl who is a product of her environment, she's coming from boarding school, where her surroundings was fill with social media, face-time, gosh even bhabo has a mobile 😆

I'm not sure what massi, think her coming would accomplish cause kanak is determine to escape and will by hook or crook.

palomi is likes to be torture so let her enjoy

Suman is going to fail her class again

Great analysis as always Blue

Hi blueflames,
Great analysis and very well written. 👏What you said is very true. Kanak is leading on US and he is falling hook line and sinker. Which is very wrong. But then again, Kanak is just a twenty years old. And way too younger than US. When she arrived in Ladnun I don't think that she had any intention to steal the papers. She might have confronted US in that regards. But she was forced to marry that guy. All she got from him in the first encounter was a terrible experience. That was frightening. How will she have any faith in that guy or in his family that he/they might be honest? She is as it is scared of him. We as an audience know that US is not fake but when I try to see from her point of view, I think she is so young to actually think that she is leading him on. Maybe she will regret it later. Or while leading him might fall into the same pit. I for one is rooting for a female lead who is more human than a goody two shoes who is ready to do jagat kalyan.
Another issue which you mentioned was Golu's appearance. It is so true that people often judge on a person's appearance and fail to see what is inside. Now it remains to be seen whether the makers are going to deal with this issue seriously or to keep it just for comic relief.

@Blue - some of the comments and your title made me reflect. One of the reasons people have different perspectives is differing life experiences. For Kanak she is used to a world where everyone has a cellphone. So for her its odd that they are stopping to make calls.

Maasi measures the world through worldly goods - remember how she was talking about decking up the bride at the pooja. So, she imparts that belief of money/gold being the object of Kanak's interest.

Our perspectives are often formed by our first impressions. Kanak's first, second, and third impression of US has been adverse. So he has loads to do to dispell the negative impression she has of him. He was an MCP the first time. Second instance he forced her to marry him and in the 3rd he had her brother beaten up. So, its easy for us to have the armchair expectation of forthrightness and honest from Sandhya's daughter. Her upbringing was quite different from Sandhya, however, and she is dealing with a a MCP that forced her into a relationship, beat up her brother, and possibly stole her grandmother's property.

Hey there.
Nailed it "culture shock" -- well said. Totally agree
And this boarding school thing was an on going thought in my mind when I read your comment.

Coming to massi behaving weird, agar itna hi dekh pasand kar k dulhan chahiye thi why did she propose marriage to Kanak rather than inquiring about her family. But the suspicion is a bit logical, because Kanak has been inconsistent throughout the whole time.

@Anjana -- it's a sign of healthy discussion which makes one reflect and see the other side of the picture.
You have aptly said that different life experience give different perspective.
That's what makes us human... interpretating things as we know or learn.
Rest of the first second impression analysis--- nailed it. 👏

You know actually it's like we can point out this happened due to this, US did this Kanak retaliated. And it's goes on. What I had failed to realize till now is that " each of the characters are doing/acting the way THEY think are right. And nobody is wrong in it, they are reacting/ acting as per their opinion/reasoning. US married her forcefully, because he thought it was the right thing as per the dharm. Kanak is stealing and going to run off, because she thinks it's the right thing. In this game nobody is wrong or right.. it's the situation which is wrong and giving out mixed signals which nobody can understand. (Did I make sense) 😳

1) yes that's why the manhoos duo are accompanying US and Kanak on the trip. They will take each and every instance and comment on it. I wish a coconut drops on Suman's head and her mind returns to some positivity.
Does jewelry even matter, they already take Kanak to be greedy. The first thing they are going to be doing is check the jewelry and money. Papers tou ghar se pata chale ga when gabba sa is to go to Pushkar.

2) Kanak might be feeling something, it's not everyday a husband hets you a necklace let alone put it on himself. But most of all she felt was nervousness by the closeness which she is not ready to accept. But still leading him on, while being in a conflict.
Yes they have to cross path one way or the highway. Or how else would the show move on. No matter how heartbroken or betrayed US feels, he would do something about Kanak. And kanak won't forget her raavan easily.

Coming to legalizing and logic there is no such thing in any show. So let's keep it out of discussion too 😆

4) spot on about massi, loss of fear and influence along with universal mother syndrome, almost every mother has this insecurity k mera beta Gaya kaam se. 😆

🤣 🤣 so true

Wow!! Some really great discussions are going on.
@Geet, you are right. I don't think Kanak even realizes that she is leading Uma on. The reason she let him come close is because she had papers in her hand and couldn't put them down in front of him.

I didn't like it at the time I watched the episode but after reading everyone's discussion, I can make more sense of it.
