Had her look been hit, she and her team would've milked the event compelete. I'm sure we would have seen a lot of articles saying how she nailed her look, how she slayed the event etc etc.

Now that it's a Miss - they're like yeah we don't care about what others think.

If you aren't dressing up to show off at MET why are your there then? It's the MET for f**ks sake! That's like prada/Gucci saying fashion weeks are just for myself, not the world..but well still spend big bucks and hire malnourished models for no reason! She is just so butthurt it's obvious! Get over it princess, and let's get to work.

TBH re MET I don't think she understands the HW world of high fashion and neither does her stylist. Thats why it's a double whammy, ignored by media and trashed for poor outfit choice.

Although even if she got her outfit tight it's doubtful mainstream media would have paid attention to her.

Funny thing is her look wasn't the problem. Some other people would have rocked it. But Deepika misses something. She doesn't have IT. She''s the kind of person who is worn by her outfits and not the other way around.

To be honest

Deepika could've worn something outlandish..but she would have still failed. She doesn't have that confidence to pull off such stuff. And even this white dress she wore, she failed to pull it off...as others mentioned, maybe she had limited resources available and this is the only choice her stylist had for her.. but she looked dull in every department. Even her hair and makeup was meh.

I thought she looked beautiful & they clearly were gunning for an opposite effect from all the outrageous, ott costumes people wear to the MET Gala but she totally blended in.. And was totally ignored. DP doesn't have the personality to shine in the west & she seems to be feeling the pinch a lot. PC is someone whose entire personality is oriented to, and shines in the US. I hear a lot of criticism of calling her wannabe, annoying etc etc but the point still stands that she is loved & accepted and *wanted* unlike DP who is just.. There. She also seems very conscious & for months, she looked absolutely miserable (when she went to the fashion show etc) PC also has a great sense of humour & is quite witty. Since people were trolling her she trolled herself on social & posted her fav posts. 😎 There are few in BW who have this sort of confidence & all of PC's recent successes has made her this way too. She has such innate confidence/she fakes it wonderfully well!!
