The vow.

Today, the man who lovingly cooks to feed the people he loves, found out the love of his life went without food too many days.

Food, a luxury he takes like a connoisseur , was denied even as a sustenance to a sick child, his Annika, all those years ago.

"No one has force fed me caringly like this, when I was young, I was too sick to even get up, I just slept on an empty stomach..."

"I hate being woken up in the middle of the night, I get so hungry and won't be able too sleep again !!"

Hunger. Food.

Something he and his brothers took for granted, she had to learn to do without. Alone.

The very thought of it burned his insides so much he held her tightly to him. She continued to nag and worry about him, about his own lack of breakfast.

He takes her to the kitchen, his domain. He gently feeds her as she protests, solemnly. Slightly satisfied with the sight of her happily eating and smiling , satisfied.

He made a vow.

"Your days of pain and difficulties are over Annika. I will make sure. I will make you the happiest woman in this world..."

(Please excuse me, I'm sobbing into my towel right now.. )

It was a solemn promise, fully aware, by Shivaay. Come what may, whatever the future brings, he will be her guardian angel. It was so beautiful.

Then he still had to deal with his anger at himself. He didn't go to this mother, nope, he gave her benefit of doubt, but she had been sent back to get "trouble maker" category.

He goes to his baby brother Rudra. Playful, naughty Rudra, but with a heart of gold. The one who saw Annika for who she was from the start.

Today, the Shivaay inside, the version 2.0 who loved Annika, raged against SSO. He smashed and broke things in anger, because sometimes physically attacking something helps direct an emotional anger to let it out.

Rudra is visibly shocked at the sight of his fury. Shivaay rants aloud about his feelings, to Rudra, it looks like Shivaay cannot fathom his own ideologies anymore.

His own idealism is digging and burrowing holes into his Annika's difficult past. When SHE herself had no interest in it, not the slightest. And there her was, digging. And he had no right to.

"You have no idea what she's been through, we can't even imagine it... but she faced it and emerged strong, alone. She made her weakness her strength. Here I am, trying to weaken her..."

"I did so much to her. I blackmailed her using her brother. And I won! She fought, but she HAD to marry me, for the brother who's not even her own."

"What have I done, Rudra?? How could I do this? Today, I feel so lousy about myself"

Rudra is so happy to see Shivaay in his senses. He asks him to make sure, she gets only happiness from now. Beautiful scene by the two brothers.

For Shivaay to verbalize this to Rudra, is a big thing , to make this vow aloud with a witness. He is telling Rudra, a known Annika favorite, that he will take care of her .

Telling Rudra as his way of making sure he kept his vow.

But trouble is on the horizon. Inky-Pinky-Ponky is weaving a web of lies, to present Annika's lineage in a bad light to further complicate things. She is trying to hint that Annika may be the daughter of a nightclub singer.

Disgusting woman.

Precap : Shivaay is leaving for somewhere, and Annika blocks his car with Champa. Looking sassy and all *whistles*

Hats off to the writers for today's episode. They may mess things up quite often but when they deliver, they hit the ball out of the park. The dialogues today were brilliant. "Tum bilkul motee nahee ho. You're perfect Anika." "I've fallen in my own eyes, today." And Nakuul truly emerged as a star at the center of it all.

Shivaay has now vowed to protect Anika, no matter what happens. This time, I truly feel he'll be true to his words. Because this time, he KNOWS what he's doing is wrong. This time, he realizes he has no right to intrude into her private space. So this time, he won't have any excuse to torture her or bully her (which he's not going to do, though 😆 ).

It's not going to be easy for him to kill this NKK bug but each new thing he learns about Anika is going to show him the mirror, every time. It'll also double his conviction to protect her always. The things Bajaj told him, it awakened the side of him that likes to father over his loved ones and fight the entire world for them - whether they'r right or wrong. The more he learns, the harder he'll hold on.

I also hope they also show him recalling the "sadak ka koora" dialogue. That one still hurts, hard.

Also, I think am one of the few not worried about Pinky. As I've said elsewhere, she's digging her own grave with this. She's majorly underestimating the connection between ShivIka and how much Shivaay feels for Anika. Besides, there's Mahi. That'll come bite her in the backside, soon.

Right now, she thinks that tugging at the deepest of Shivaay's NKK roots will help her throw Anika away. She's wrong. It'll do the exact opposite. When we see Shivaay going to the red light area today, we can see the confusion and disgust in his face but he never once associates the place with Anika - or even thinks of her (as an individual) while he's there.

So Pinky has done us all a huge favor by calling out to the VERY LAST LAYER of his hangup. Because after this, when he chooses Anika, there's nothing she can do to separate them. No wall between them, then. Nothing will stop him from giving her is all.

I am, in fact, scared she'd realize she's been targeting the wrong person and try to play with Anika's mind, instead. If she does that, then, we'll truly have a problem.

Precap: 100 whistles for how hot Anika looks standing in front of her scooter. Saving the other 100 for Tuesday/Wednesday😉

Sorry for such a late unres...

Coming to the point, shivay made all the vows as Anika's shivay today.. All the things that he said to rudra were what anika should say when she comes to know about him digging her freaking past. Redemption portion has started bang on but I am afraid that it is all we are gonna get. I wonder if the CVS have decided that this much redemption is enough.

I do not hate pinky as is the popular vote. But I hate the mother who has the guts to wrench her own son's heart. I also hate the mother who has the guts to send her own son to a brothel area even if it is just to create misunderstandings.

I don't even know where to start today...I am at cross roads in my feelings...and this is truly difficult for me because I am usually and not so conflicted in my feelings. Brilliant episode...the writing, acting, delivery, the comfort level between the brothers to share one's deepest weaknesses...perfect.

The thing that scares me the most is his VOW...one that he has made to himself, to make her the happiest woman in the world...and the one that he has voices to Rudra..to always fight the hardest to ensure that Annika's Shivvay wins over SSO. I am convinced that Shivvay loves her...for me there is no doubt there, and that he would not put anything else above her happiness and her safety. From a characterization perspective...totally fitting...its something we the viewers were dying for, but is Shivvay really ready to make this vow, or is it reflective of the quote above?

What scares me are the writers...not having voiced this vow...they would have left a gray area that perhaps could have been defendable when they BUTCHER Shivvay's character and break this vow...for I am sure they will do that. I cannot in my mind fathom how Shivvay could ever ever put his NKK above Annika again...and if that is the case, then I am having a hard time understanding how they will take this NKK track forward, and introduce the separation track.

Is breaking his vow inherent in the making of it? And did he already prove it by falling into his mother's trap and going to the red light district to follow up on Annika's mother's lead?

Here's the thing, Annisa--there are two kinds of vows at play here. First is the one Shivaay just made to HIMSELF when it comes to his wife. This vow, made to himself and now to Rudra, where he has literally placed his woman behind his wall, is a vow he will not break. Like, after today, he CANNOT break this vow and still be the man we have seen all this time. But I am more concerned about the second vow-- the one Annika has made to HERSELF, to protect him even from himself, to keep him and his respect and his family's honor above all, even at the expense of herself- goli aapko laagti yah muje, jaan toh meri hi jaati -- that vow is at play as well. And this is the final hurdle--not him, but her. And I absolutely want her to find out what he's doing via Pinky, and for him to find out that the person who ratted him out to Annika is his mom--and for him to know WHY.

And this is where Pinky is making a mistake. He is not the right target. His curiosity, his need to find out the truth, his layer by layer peeling back of Annika's past will not affect ANNIKA, who just does.not.care. Pinky cannot hurt Annika with the details of her past--the girl has lived it, has paid for the worst possible version of her past, all her life. The pain will affect HIM, because we know-- we KNOW -- Annika's story is tragic, painful and cruel, and he keeps imagining a better version, a less realistic version. First the Bajaj granddaughter and now a bhajan singer in a red light district? Oh Shivaay... 😆

Its because instinctively he cannot make himself think of the worst of the two options. Its funny, how his own NKK is going to work in Annika's favor -- he is an Oberoi, with no experience of the ugliness of life. Like, NONE. So, now, to suddenly come face to face with hunger, need, pain, horror- that too in the life of a loved one-- this is doubly effective, since he hasn't even imagined a life like the one she has already led. We know how he reacted to one day of her life. How will he react if worst case scenarios turns out to be true, and she is the daughter of a prostitute? She is still a child, abused, terrified, hungry, and finally, lost? He will LOSE HIS MIND and not the way Pinky is hoping. If Annika's mother turns out to be a bar girl with a 100 clients, it will not make Annika anything less than who she is right now, today, for him. Perfect.

The more he finds out about her, the more in awe he is. The more in pain he is, the more reflected agony he feels. And the more fiercely his will to LOVE her, to cherish her burns. And this is just Day 1. Her innocence and her fierce strength is mirrored back in his love for her and his respect of her resilience. This is now more than lust for his woman. This is more than love for his partner. This is more than respect for his equal. This is absolute worship of his goddess, a woman who is beyond him, in her perfection, in the perfection of her heart. We've always heard that Shivaay Singh Oberoi does not do anything by halves, certainly--and now, baap re baap- dekh bhi liya. When it comes to loving his woman, clearly, he is entering completely new territory. Launching himself into full blown devotion, not just cutesy, lusty, indulgent affection we have seen in the past.

And poor Pinky-- Shivaay finally knowing everything about her is what will triumph over whatever dirt Annika's background can contain--because the worse the background is, the more phoenix like, more impressive Annika's rise from the ashes is. And the more infatuated and manic her husband will be, to protect her and love her to make up for her pain going forward. The thought of leaving her will not even occur to him, the idea of hurting her will be like acid in this throat. And Pinky, all unknowing of which way the wind is blowing, will suggest both to him.

I would not want to be Pinky Singh Oberoi when the manipulation and the bribing and the interference over their relationship is revealed. And if all that costs him his wife, with Annika walking out on him even for a night- Pinky ji, your Ma'ata had better help you, because Shivaay certainly will burn you to ash..

Hello , I'm so happy today's episode. Trust me , I have depression issues to deal with and I'm not saying here to get sympathy etc but because people don't know me here and there is no one to judge. Sometimes in my whole day , Shivaaye Annika makes me so happy. I get too attached with fictional character. So today is the day I'm happy again after reading updates. I will prefer being on the forum rather than going out , haha. WEIRD.

The way he was feeding her food was so heartwarming. Aw shivaaye , how can someone be so CARING , I love his soft and loving side. He was making sure that she was satisfied and happy , was making sure from now she doesn't skip even one meal. He promised to take her all pain and to keep her happy. His eyes always tells a different story. He was feeling the pain she went through in the past. So HAPPY. I love how he tags her as perfect.

The Rudra - Shivaaye scene was beyond my expectations. I would've kissed harneet for this xD. Everything was perfect , writing , acting and every single thing. Brothers can be weaknesses , Shivaaye breaks down in front of Rudra. Tells him about how his bhabhi suffered , he realized how he was wrong. He realized about the marriage stunt YAY. He said that he won there but yes we all know this time he will make his Annika win.

He will not let her go , even if the worst comes. SSO never breaks his promises.

Enjoyed the first part of episode like crazy...it was beautiful. Nakul Mehta's performance was brilliant and his realization was overwhelming.

Pinki...I couldn't watch the episode again because of her

The STAGE IS SET FOR Mrs. SSO to LEAVE against the wishes of a disturbed Mr. SSO. It seems that after hearing all the lies about her mother from Pinki, Anika will leave on her own against the wishes of her husband.

But then Harneet always surprises us with a different twist and the story goes in a totally unexpected direction...Thankfully we have all the wonderful writers on this forum who can enlighten us and bring all the possibilities out.

Anisa today rudra Shivaay scene was awesome... Shivaay said everything I hv been saying... Shivaay has no right to dig her past if she doesn't want to... She has gone thru enuf that someone should bring it out in open for her to suffer again... Shivaay's realization that he is opening her wounds again and how badly he has treated her in past but she has always been forgiving and giving... Her Love for her brother... This family and even him... Rather How she has been a perfect sister, perfect daughter in law and perfect wife makes him realise how shallow he has been... And he is condemning himself for that...

i got to say ... the scene where he is feeding her really almost made me cry

he was looking at her and it was obvious how scared he was of the idea of her being hungry or alone or even sick

my god and the vow ... i actually let out a huge Gasp when he said it😲😲

coming to breaking things in Rudra's Room ... i loved that scene ... he actually started questioning himself and feeling small in his own eyes

the fact that he rememberd the wedding and the way he forced her into it ... was jsut bang on

i got to say ... when he was talking that i am shivaay singh Oberoi and i want to know ...i almost cried ... the way his voice was changing while he was telling rudra what his brain told him (in an angry egotistic voice) and what his heart was taunting him about (his breaking choking voice) i actually was shocked ... that was so done well ... hats off NM that was amazing👏👏👏

and the moment he said ... with what right i am asking her??? who am i?? shivaay singh oberoi ?? i actually saw it yet again how much this man has evolved ... LOVE REALLY IS MAGICAL ISN'T IT??

i got to say i am actaully happy that he voiced his promise and his decsion of both protecting hher and letting go of the search to her NKK to his brother

if a misunderstadning happens ... Rudra will be there to make annika see that SSO chose her ... always did and always will ... that will be extremely vital since pinky will get them to fight somehow over this

speaking of the DEviL😡😡😡... that woman should rot in hell ... she really should😡😡😡

ok she has given a huge strike ... by avtually trying to put annika's mother as aprostitute is the smartest and strongest strike pinky could make

this strike will either make Shivika or break them ...this is the worst possible background annika acould get even in the eyes of some one who is not that much into NKK

although i saw shivaay's love and care for annika ...i saw how his heart won the battle today and managed to shush his brain and NKK

but yet his curiousity did win again and he went to know ... to find out more

i'm just scared ... this whole pinky lie is so strong that i don't know wether shivaay will be able to take it or not ...i honestly don't

i know he loves her ... i know he can't let her go ... but this is the real test ... the ultimate one ... he would pass it with flying clolors if pinky wasn't around

but pinky ... if she actually creates a misunderstanding in annika's brain, she might actually get what she wants ...

now i want mahi's track to start more than ever ... pinky deserves whatever is coming herway😈

p.s: although we know that shivika will be arguing tomorrow about the NKK yet their argue doesn't seem intense since it's ending with comedy

so i am assuming this is not the huge MU that pinky is planning ... so i don't know ... i hope shivaay passes this hurdle too
