Why is Annika Justified Hola People ! So I read quite a many posts on Annika's Behaviour and how wrong is she , by asking Shivaay to choose. While every person has his/ her own opinion, I am just trying to justify Annika's behavior. Why I think she and her reaction is right. I do not mean to offend anyone and if I do I am truely Sorry. Kindly give your opinions irrespective of my own, I mean even if you don't agree with me. This is what I wrote on someone's post.
To be very honest I for one would have been very disappointed if she did not have a breakdown there. If we analyze Annika's character from day 1, some things are very apparent. While I read someone's reply, saying Annika is too perfect. I say, rather believe she is not. She is very naive at times, far more vocal about her opinions like she really doesn't know when to keep her mouth shut *The infamous pant phat gayi incident; Anyone?* And most of all, her Achilles heel , Family or in her case lack of family ! Time and time again , be it when OmRu were angry with Shivaay or when she walked out of the hospital after the bullet scene. She has shown her weakness and now every one knows where to hit her. And this lack of family thing leads to her deep rooted insecurities. While Shivaay's NKK needs TO vanish , so does Annika's Insecurities. You said Shivaay's NKK rant is not evil, just his beliefs. I disagree How can a person even judge someone from their background? When it is just a matter of chance from which background you belong.And he exactly needs to learn that. And this blow must come from Annika itself. In fact it did from the very first day, she proved to be everything his NKK was not.From the mandir scene when she slapped Shivaay with his money. But all Shivaay did was to judge her again and again . The chip or Daksh's planning! When Shivaay can do so many mistakes or has so many flaws . Why can not we accept Annika's "logical " insecurities? Regarding the Mahi parallel drawn, Annika herself said before entering the hospital , their relationship will not change irrespective of Mahi's truth while Shivaay clearly said before entering the Orphanage , their relationship will change forever after this . Difference.And as per takkar ka thing : Shivaay married Annika without giving her a choice Due to his own selfish reasons i.e is Khandaan ki izzat. So why can't Annika make him choose? She is still giving him the chance to choose, choice when what she is asking is justified.Annika has told how much he means to her, how much she loves him except the magical three words , She has done so much for his family (without being overly mahaan)
Can't she be accepted with a little flaw with a little selfishness? She was hurt when Shivaay talked about her background with OmRu behind her back. But couldn't he tell the same thing with her whereas Annika told Shivaay she went to see Mahi but he was angry just because she will hurt herself , not him. Whereas Shivaay knows if his plans get revealed , it will hurt Annika herself. I think Annika is totally justified between asking him to choose.The way they are moving forward in their physical relationship, she is afraid that if he can not accept her and if he leaves her after taking their relationship forward.She will be left devastated and honestly Shivaay can't see Annika as the mother of their children but he can romance her , get physical with her? Hypocrisy much ? And I AM talking about before only when he made that statement to Om. He did play farak games and did stuff like that. I stand with Annika who for once in the Industry of Mahaan Daily Soap Heroines knows what she wants, will not change and is selfish.
