Why does everyone think she accumulated all of these followers in a day or two? Although inactive the account existed from before and was slowly gathering followers. Last I'd seen (a few days before her "official" arrival to Instagram) she'd been at nearly a couple of hundred thousand followers.

duh she did , her account id was made available on 27th morning by dna 😆 and her id got confirmed and launched at 3 30 pm on 27th , hope this clears your issues 😃

Last year, Katrina announced it to the world that she was going to make her social media debut starting with FB and later with Instagram and Twitter. So we all naturally knew she would make the debut on Instagram but we're not sure. We suspected she would start Instagram this year. And DNA already announced it before she "officially" launched it.

No it doesn't, I don't know what point you're making. I knew her id would most likely be 'katrinakaif' so I searched it up long before DNA announced anything.

There are some actors and actresses who took more than a year to even reach 1 million, so her getting it in such a short amount of time is an impressive feat

Not that I care much about total followers/counts etc...the individual content matters more for me
