Maya's character sketch mostly misunderstood

Time and again I've come across posts saying, maya does everything wrong because of vandana and saanjh.

It is not completely because of Vandana and Saanjh. But the least thing which Vandana could have done was to give a second chance to Maya as an elderly person and as a mother. A MIL is also a mother to the girl after she becomes his son's wife. At least for her son's happiness, she could have given her a chance. Every person is entitled to get a chance no matter how much ever bad they are, especially when they make genuine efforts to change for the better. Even God gives a chance to the most notorious criminals and the International terrorists. He gives a chance to all his children without any discrimination but the so-called great souls are not willing. They think they are Goddesses.

Completely agreed to the fact that vandana behaved extremely impulsively. But neither can I swipe off the reason she did. No one told her convincingly enough that maya is not mentally fine, she needs love and care because she was traumatised as a child. No one told her that her father is behind her property.. Rather what she was told? Maya was an evil since 9. She can do anything if she gets angry. And moreover she has some devastating "truth". Don't you think it's sheer difficult for any human to accept such an "EVIL" woman?

^^ also given that the same person who told her about maya was murdered on the very day. Even after all these you believe a mother will accept everything calmly?

Maya had called everyone for the press meeting & told about Ashwin at the press conference but still, Vandana believed Ashwin. She could have at least asked Jhanvi before taking that decision. Vandana is biased. Whatever is wrong it is wrong.

This post was not made to make people hate maya. Rather it was to make people hate saanjh and Vandana a bit less. Thanks for misunderstanding

Even I feel that Vandana and Saanjh could not have done much in Maya's case.. Sooner or later something certainly might have happened that wud have triggered Maya to manipulate.. Its her way or highway for her and the biggest example is Ayaan .. Even if we forget about the recent fake rape case, she created rift between Ayaan and Arjun back when Ayaan as her only support was standing outside the house against Vandana... Yet she separated both the brothers and that too because Arjun called Ayan his jaan...Its obvious that she can't bear anyone close to Arjun even if he / she means good to her..
