Have always felt that Robbie and Devika have a relation which though ignored at times is perhaps the beauty of this serial in so many ways....Their at times concern, at times sensitivity and at times irritation with each other is so relatableš....of course apart from Devika calling him a toy and puppet part....
But overall .....behind all the crap and the cluster....is a powerful mother-son bond.
As actors, Karan and Sheeba perhaps share the best chemistry as the troubled, stubborn, determined yet sensitive towards each other mother-son duo.š Together they create pure star power on screen. Yesterday, all others seemed like props the moment Karan and Sheeba interacted with each other. Their apologies to each other ...perfectly pitched and restrained ...spoke volumes rather than the sheer melodrama shown otherwise.
This is for them .........and for all you lovely mothers out thereš...thanks for making our lives special.š¤
Taking off from arguably one of the best songs to be churned out of Indian filmsš.....Meri Maa.....

Robbie to his friend, benefactor, protector, mentor, at times master, but most of the times just a mom........Devika
Mein kabhi batlata nahi....
Par akelepan se darta hoon mein Mom
Yun to mein dikhlata nahi...
Teri parwah karta hoon mein Mom
Tujhe sab hai pata, Hai na Mom
Tujhe sab hai pataaaa.......meri Mom
Bheed mein yun na chodo mujhe...
Khud ko hi bhool jo mein jaau Mom
Paise ka zarya samjhona mujhe
Tumko bhi dhoond panaa paau Mom
Kya itna bura hoon mein Mom
kya itna bura ......Meri Mom
Jab bhi kabhi....Duniya mujhe.....Itne taane deti hain Mom....
Meri nazar dhoondhe tujhe....Sochun yahi ...aake tu thamegi Mom....
Unse mein yeh kehta nahi....
Per mein toot jaata hoon mein Mom
Chehre pe aane deta nahi....
Dil hi dil mein hi rota hoon mein Mom
Tujhe sab hai pata.....haina Mom
Tujhe sab hai pata.....Meri Mom
Yun to mein dikhlata nahi...
Teri parwah karta hoon mein Mom
Tujhe sab hai pata, Haina Mom
Tujhe sab hai pataaaa.......meri Momš¤
