Sidharth remained with her around the clock,

and never left her side.

Roshni had fallen asleep due to the

strong medications, whilst Sidharth held onto her hand

tightly, as though he could protect her just by holding onto her..

Sidharth sat silently as he watched her

sleep. His smile had not left his face, since she had

woken up.

He leaned in closer to her. She smelt so good.

He missed being close to her.

He missed everything about Roshni

It was as if he couldn't breath, if she

was not there as part of him.

She was as important to him as food, water and oxygen.

She was his addiction.

He heard her sigh in her sleep.

Sidharth lowered his head to hers, kissing her on top of her hair, and breathed in her scent

once again, as if he was starved for it.

"I love you Roshni" he whispered.

Sidharth had come to the conclusion

that it would be in Roshni best interest, that she be kept

in the dark about Devs return.

He would not tell her, that Dev was

the reason behind the accident and the reason why she

was in hospital.

Dev was Roshni worst nightmare, and

he frightened her.

He would not allow Roshni to suffer any

more pain or anguish due to Dev.

It would be best if she didn't know...

He smiled as he gazed down at her.

Everything felt perfect

"Please don't ever stop loving me Roshni"

"I won't Sidharth. Never Ever" Roshni replied opening her eyes slowly.

Sidharth couldn't help but smile. He sat down beside her on the bed.

"Hey...how you feeling now my love"

"So sleepy and tired"

"Aww. ..It's okay nah Baby. ..you take all the rest you need. ." He said stroking her cheeks

"Now that your awake my love, it's

time to take your medication"

Roshni scrunched up her face "Damn"

Slowly she raised her eyes up and

looked at Sidharth sweetly

"You love me nah"

Sidharth stared back down at her, with a surprised expression.

"What sort of stupid question is that. Of course I love you"

"Roshni smile became wider

"Jaan you always say you can do anything for me...right"

"Anything Baby. Anything...Even give up my life in a second without giving it a second thought"

"Hmmm. ..So if I ask you something, will you do it for me nah"

"Bhol ke do dekho meri jaan"

"Can you take my medication for me...Their disgusting. Aur waise bhi ek jaan hain hum...If I take or you take...doesn't make any difference nah" she giggled

"Hahaha very funny. Your hilarious. ..now open your mouth"

Sidharth gave her the medicine and kissed her forehead

He lay down besaide her and held onto

her, and without realising it he finally, after two long

days, fell asleep on the bed...

Roshni could feel his deep breath over her face.

"I love you. Hamesha and forever".

She stroked his arms, that were around her waist, and slowly she felt the heaviness creep back in and she fell asleep.

NEXT MORNING

It was the dawn of a new day, before the two woke up.

Sidharth opened his eyes, and smiled

looking at Roshni who was staring back...

His heart swelled just looking down at her big brown eyes.

"Good morning Beautiful, and how are you feeling this morning"

"Good morning Jaan...A little better" replied a sleepy Roshni

"Sidharth" her voice was barely a whisper.

Her voice broke his trance. His gaze leveled to hers

"Yes my love"

"Did you sleep okay" asked a concerned

Roshni, realising that he had hardly any room to sleep on the bed

"That was the most peaceful sleep I've ever had Baby, because I knew you were safe and well next to me"

He kissed her hand as moisture filled up in his eyes.

As bad as the last few days had been.

This moment was the happiest day of his life.

Roshni was going to be okay. Nothing

was more important to him not now or ever.

All that mattered was she was safe. She was alive.

He would keep her safe always.

Sidharth kissed her hand again, and

Roshni suddenly noticed the ring on her finger

"OMG. ..Sidharth what's this"

"You like it"

"It's really beautiful Sidharth"

"Not as beautiful as you my love"

"But...but...It must be so expensive" asked Roshni worried

Suddenly her smile was gone as her

eyebrows pulled together and winced a little in pain

Roshni put up a small smile

"Ask me where it's not hurting Jaan"

Sidharth felt an ache in his heart, and swallowed hard

He reached to her face soothing her cheeks with his fingers

"I wish I could take all your pain and

make it mine.."

Roshni looked at him. She could see the pain he was suffering because of her..

She loved him so much, so she pretended

that the pain was better. She didn't want to worry him

"It's okay Sidharth. The pain is gone now..."

"Pakka. .your not in pain"

He raised his eye brows, to which

Roshni nodded her head

"Haan Kyon?"

Roshni blushed and lowered her eyes.

"Sidharth stop it.."

Sidharth pouted his lips and shook his head

"No I won't stop it. .." winking at her.

He leaned in and kissed her as delicately as he could.

He kissed her chin, her nose...

His lips moving softly over her cheekbones

"Oh God Roshni. I love you so much" he murmured through the kisses.

"I've missed you so much"

His lips continued along her jaw

"You're my life Roshni. ..my everyrhing"

He lips moved down to her neck..leaving a trail of small of wet kisses along it.

"I'm sorry Sidharth" she mumbled

Sidharth looked back at her

"Sorry for what Baby"

She made a cute face

"Sorry for putting you through all this. For giving you so much pain".

Sidharth shook his head

"Ssh. .why are you sorry jaan. ..you didn't do anything wrong"

He caressed her cheek gently.

He looked deep into her eyes

"I love you, and we will be together forever"

"Forever" she agreed smiling

Suddenly Sidharth smile turnedbmischievous.

"Now how about those kisses you owe

Roshni bit her lower lip

Sidharth leaned in towards her lips. He

could feel her soft breaths on his face.

His lips were inches away, and nothing

could stop him from claiming her lips

As his lips neared, Roshni raised her

hand to her head

Sidharth got alarmed

"Does your head hurt Baby. Wait I'll

call the Doctor"

Sidharth started to move but Roshni

held onto him

"No wait..."

Sidharth looked back at her

"I just remembered my hair.." she

whimpered as she realised..

"Huh. ..your hair" asked Sidharth

confused

"Oh on! I haven't brushed my

hair...In God knows how many days...I must look a mess.

..."

Sidharth closed his eyes with relief,

and then tried to control his laughter

"Is that the reason you stopped me from

kissing you...You got to stop scaring me like this...not

fair ehh"

Roshni made a pout

"No Sidharth...its just that I don't

want to look ugly in front of you"

Sidharth soothed her hair, with his

fingers.

"Ugly and you..."

Gently he started tracing her features

with his fingers

"You are the most beautiful girl in

this world Roshni. Always and Hamesha.

If only you could see yourself through

my eyes you'd understand how beautiful you are"

Roshni smiled at his answer.

"Now stop with the bahanas, and give me

my kiss" ordered Sidharth

Sidharth held her head gently between

his hands and kissed her cheeks again lightly.

He lowered his lips to hers...

She smiled as her eyelids dropped into

darkness again. The medication made her sleep again.

"Sidharth I love you" she said as she

fell asleep

He watched as her eyes closed

completely

"I love you too Roshni..."

He smiled

"I'll be waiting right here Baby. Kab

tak baacho ge mujse. Kiss toh dena parega Baby".

He wasn't going anywhere. He wasn't

going to leave her side.

He caressed her hand and watched her

sleep.

Time passed and Sidharth closed his

eyes.

Suddenly he jumped hearing a noise.

His eyes darted around the room

expecting danger, but instead he saw Rahul and Soniya.

"Hey" they both whispered

"Oh its you...I thought it was..."

Sidharth replied releasing a deep breath as he looked back

at Roshni.

"How's Roshni doing JeejuSa?"

Sidharth smiled and nodded his head

"Better"

"Why don't you take a little break Bro.

Jellybean and I'll stay here with Roshni"

"No way. I'm not leaving her" Sidharth

was adamant.

Soniya looked at him from head to toe

"No offence JeejuSa, but you look

awful. ..you need to freshen up, take a shower maybe"

Sidharth nodded his head in agreement

"Your right...But I'm not going

anywhere. I'll take a shower here"

He turned to Rahul

"Stay here. Don't leave her. Not even

for a second okay"

Rahul nodded understanding his dilemma.

"Sure Bro"

Sidharth leaned over Roshni and kissed

her before making his way to the bathroom. ...

Sidharth encircled his arms around Roshni as she woke up from her afternoon nap

"Hmm and how are you feeling now my love"

Roshni hugged him . ..

"Perfect...Because whenever I open my eyes, your always here by my side. .."

"Always Baby. ..Because that's where I belong"

Roshni smiled at him, as he brushed his nose gently against hers

"Darling are you hungry. .because you haven't eaten anything since this last night ...and if you continue like this, you'll begin to lose Weight"

"It's good nah. .If I lose weight...I'll become slim and smart...

Don't you want a slim smart wife Sidharth,..unless your missing Rolly Polly" she giggled

"Roshni that's not funny..your already slim and smart. Besides if Rolly Polly did come back...I'd still love you...your beautiful no matter what..."

"Just beautiful. .." she pouted

Sidharth leaned in closer

Roshni nodded her head in excitement

Roshni suddenly began to blush, and looked away

Sidharth sat on the edge of the bed, and brushed Roshni hair back behind her neck, and his face came up close to hers

Slowly he began planting tiny kisses down her neck.

"Ummm you taste so good Baby" his voice was seductive.

"Looks like I'm the one that's hungry. .." said Sidharth

Roshni heart started beating at an uncontrollable rhythm.

Gathering her one hand in his, he gazed into her eyes.

"Roshni"

"Hmmm..." her breathing hitched

His lips curved up. His smile was wonderful too good to be true

"Do you want to eat, or can I interest you in a lip kiss first. .."

Her heart continued to race in her chest, as she looked at the door. Sidharth continued to leave a trail of kisses down her neck

"Sidharth stop it koi aa jaye ga"

Sidharth took a moment break from his kisses

"Seriously. ..Don't you ever get bored with the same line, because I'm definitely getting bored listening to it..

"Lekin Sidharth. ..

"Sssh..." he placed a finger on her lips

He nuzzled his head back, between her jaw and shoulder.

Roshni giggled as his warm breath tickled her neck

"Sidharth koi. .." but was too caught up in the moment to complete her sentence. .

Sidharth shrugged his shoulders. He lowered his hand down to her waist and pulled her in gently, making sure he didn't hurt her.

"Koi aaye nah aaye Roshni. ...I don't care"

Sidharth continued his trail of seductive kisses.

"Most of the time it's you, my Love that interupts my Romance. ..not koi" he whispered...

"Now where was I..."

His lips moved around her lips, soft and warm

"Ummm I think. I was here..." he groaned as he made himself even more comfortable beside her on the bed.

"Sidharth kya kare ho. This is a hospital. Not our bedroom.."

Sidharth carried on kissing her, over her cheeks down to her jawline

"This is a room, we're on a bed, Hence...Bedroom..I rest my case.."

Sidharth gaze lowered to her lips. ..

Roshni heart began to flutter rapidly as her breathing danced in pace with her heart beats.

He placed his lips on hers, and she parted her lips.

He started sucking on her bottom lip.

He tightened his grip around her waist, and gently pushed her down against the pillow as he snuggled next to her.

Not for a second did he break the kiss. .

She began to melt under his seductive kisses.

His tongue slid across her lips parting them, and then his tongue touched hers, and began playing with it

Electricity soared through both of them. .

Sidharth pulled away for a fraction of a second. .and Roshni placed her palm in between their lips quickly.

Roshni ...was shy and afraid...

"You can kiss me all you want when we get home..But not here...Sidharth"

He pulled her closer tightening his grip on her waist

"I can't wait that long. I've waited long enough"

Unexpectedly he moved his hand from her waist and gathered both her wrist, pushing them against the pillow,. being careful, with each move that he didn't hurt her.

Roshni looked into his eyes, panting hard

"Sidharth. ."

Sidharth left a trail of kisses from her chin to her ears.

Slowly he nuzzled his nose in her neck, his warm breath sent chills down her spine.

Heat overflowed in Sidharth veins. He was positive his heart would pound out through his chest.

"Oochhh. ..." She shrieked

Sidharth loosened his grip, and held his breath

"What is it Baby. You okay. ...where's it hurting? ".

She looked up at him, and gulped

"Sidharth just a little pain..it'll be okay"

Roshni face had turned pale from the pain...

Sidharth took her face between both his hands

"I'm so sorry Roshni. .I'm so sorry Baby...

I should have been more careful...

I'm being so selfish nah. ..I'm sorry".

"No Sidharth. ..its okay. .saachi"

Roshni held his collar, pulling him down.

She gently brushed her lips against his, and gently sucked the bottom of his lip, allowing her tongue to touch his playfully, before letting go.

"I love you Sidharth. Consider this a small trailer of what's to come"

His expression went from worry to thrilled excitement in a matter of seconds

She grinned seeing his smile.

He kissed her forehead and cheeks

"Can't wait to get home. If that's the trailer I want to see the movie ASAP.."

He jumped of the bed with a hoot and a holler.

"Arre, ab yeh Doctor tumhe discharge kab karenge. ."

He pouted...

He lay back down beside her. He cupped her face and brushed his nose against hers.

His hands moved down her back as he caressed her gently

Slowly he curled up in her arms

"Can't wait to take you home Baby"

Time froze. The world melted away. There was just the two of them.

They both lay staring at one another. Time seemed to have stood still.

"Ahem. .Ahem.." coughed the Doctor as he stood at the door.

Sidharth lept our of the bed, whilst Roshni closed her eyes embarrassed.

"Sorry to disturb you both...but I just need to do a quick check up on Mrs Khurana.

"Sure sure.. Come on in Doctor" Sidharth face was a

little flushed.

'How are you feeling today Roshni"

"Better Doctor..."

The doctor went through her new report's and checked all her vitals...

"Well I think you are making excellent progress in your recovery Roshni. Within a matter of days you'll be fit and fine. I see no reason why you shouldn't be discharged today. In fact I'll get the discharge papers ready as soon as possible"

Sidharth face lit up. Finally she was going home.

"Yippee. ... Did you hear that Roshni. ..I can take you home. We're going home Baby. ..we're going home"

Sidharth outburst surprised the Doctor.

Sidharth suddenly realised what a fool he had just made of himself, and began to fix his tie, avoiding eye contact with the doctor.

"Thank you Doctor. .Thank you so much.." he tried to act cool

"Ummm Mr. Khurana I understand that you two are newly married. .."

Sidharth furrowed his eyebrows

"Ah yes..why"

"I think it best..."

Sidharth smile disappeared all of a sudden

"What Doctor??"

"Actually after such a horrific accident, Roshni body

is still very weak. She's very fragile at the moment.

So I would like to make a small suggestion. ..." his voice trailed slightly

"Suggestion... what doctor" he gulped worried that he was about to give bad news

"Roshni is okay nah..."

"Oh of course she'll be fine Mr Khurana. ...

It's just that her body needs to heal...

Which obviously will require time, rest and medication.

So coming to the main point. ..I would like to advise you, that in the best interest of Roshni health and recovery, .. Its best that you two should refrain from any sort of physical relationship for at least one month"

Sidharth looked back at Roshni. ..who blushed at the doctors words

"One month..." he gulped

"Yes one month..." the Doctor replied

Sidharth tried to hide his disappointment. .

"One month as in thirty days...or one month as in thirty one days" Sidharth asked innocently

Roshni covered herself under the blanket ..

She couldn't believe Sidharth had asked such a stupid question

On the other hand, the doctor desperately tried hard to conceal his laughter

"Hmmm. ..Now that you mention it...I can see the big difference. ..One whole day difference. .

Let's just say thirty days is more than enough...until your wife is physically stronger..."

"I hope you understand Mr Khurana"

Sidharth nodded his head. A little disappointed. But nothing was more important to him than her health.

"I'm writing out a new prescription. Make sure she takes her medicines on time. If there are any issues, any pain do not hesitate to bring her back immediately"

The doctor left the room.

Sidharth looked at Roshni with a cute face. He let out a frustrated sigh

"One month...Why does fate always play with my feelings. Not fair ehh"

He looked up to the heavens and raised his hands in the air

"Seriously. .."

Roshni shrugged her shoulders...

"Challo at least you saved us one day...It could have been thirty one days" she teased

"Hahaha. ..very funny.."

LATER THAT EVENING

The discharge papers were ready and Roshni was ready to go home.

"Can't wait to get you home sweetie. You know how much I missed you" Soniya said as she packed her belongings

"We have so much to catch up on Sweetie"

Rahul looked at her

"Jellybeans she's only been here for five day ..what's there to catch up on..."

"Oh ho Baby, girl talk you won't understand"

Rahul scratched his head...

"Probably not...its difficult enough trying to understand Girls, so understanding their talks would probably be a whole new level" Rahul mumbled under his breath.

"What was that Honey"

"Nothing Jellybeans. ..nothing".

Sidharth pulled Rahul to one side

"Any news on Dev. Where has he disappeared after that day. We need to gather evidence against him fast Rahul. I want him behind bars.

Roshni going home today, and that Dev is still roaming around free.."

"Working on it Bro. But everything is coming up to a dead end. He's covered his tracks very well"

Soniya stood watching the two

"What kus pus is going on between you two brothers eh" inquired Soniya narrowing her eyes

"Nothing Jellybeans... just some business talk..."

The nurse bought in a pair of clutches and handed them to Soniya

"She'll be needing these until she is strong enough to manage by herself"

Another nurse bought in a wheelchair, and was about to help Roshni into it

"Ah there's no need for that. I'm the only Sahara my

wife needs. When I'm here she needn't worry"

He picked up Roshni gently in his arms and smiled at her

"Ready to go home Mrs Khuranas"

"Ready Mr. Khurana..."
