7.42pm Looks like it was a sharp shower. The rain seems have stopped, but the covers are still on. Play can start as late as 9pm for us to not lose overs. No real threat as far as the possibility of the game goes.

8.05pm The umpires are out inspecting. The covers are off. The stumps aren't yet in place but there's enough to suggest we aren't far from the toss. The players are out practicing.
