"Toh 4.00 ko postpone karlo na..."

"Kyu??"He huffed
"Shravan usko time hona chahiye na...aacha suno...tum baacho ka Homework complete kar lena OK??"
"HOMEWORK..!!nahi bilkul nahi..."
"Shravan...LKG ka HW nahi le sakte tum??Please karva lo na..."
"Par Sumo..."
"No par var...Chalo mai late ho rahi hu...Bye...Plz HW karva lena OK??"
"Sumo please..."He tried pleading for the last time...
"Please Shravan samjha karo na...Bye SamShriya...!!!mai jaldi aaungi ..."
She waved at her twins and her husband and set off in her jaan..leaving behind a very sad Shravan who was assigned to take the children's HW...!!
"Chalo papa lets do homework..."Samar pulled him...
"Homework baad mey karenge...abhi khele??"he said picking up Shriya...
"nahi papa...mummy ne kaha hai ke pehle homework...baad mey play...Chalo..."She said wiggling in his arms forcing him to go to their room...
"Toh kya karna hai first??"He said setteling between the book spread on his bed..maths English Drawing and what not...
"First maths.."Samar shrilled...
"No pehle Drawing..."Shriya shouted...
"nahi maths...papa bolo na..."
"Shuush...jhagda nahi karo...Shriya pehle maths ok??phir mumma aane ke baad saath mey colouring karenge..."
"OK papa..!!"She exclaimed and sat in his lap with her maths book in hand...
They started solving their sums and Shravan drifted back to his old memories...How he ans Sumo used to do homework together...
"Papa...mujhe ye samaj nahi aa raha..."Samar said
"Kya??"
"yaha dekho na..2+2=4 hota hai..2*2= 4 hota hai...par 3+3=6 and 3*3=9 aisa kyu hota hai??3*3=6 hona chahiye na??"
There came a shot which left Shravan dumb folded...this was what he feared of...he wasn't bad in maths...but simple and innocent questions of his tiny tots always left him speechless...
"papa bolo na..."
"Ye tum mumma se puch lena baby..."
"Aapko nahi aata papa??Shriya asked
"Par mumma toh keh rahi thi ke aab school mey bohot clever baache the...par aapko ye nahi aa raha??"Samar doubted...
"Aise baat nahi hai beta...mai chahta hu ke tumlog iska answer dhundo...phir he tum log papa ke tarah scholar banoge na??"
"Yes papa...mai dhunduga..."Samar said and bored his eyes in his book...
15 mins later
"Ho gaya papa.."Shriya said...
"papa??PAPA??!!"She pushed him a little...
"KYA??!!Kya hua??"Shravan woke up shocked..
"Aap so rahe the?"Samar.
"HA..nahi woh aankh lag gayi thi...kya hua??"
"Humara ho gaya..."They said in unison..
"Very good..!!chalo khelte hai..."He started getting off the bed...
"Nahi papa..abhi toh sirf Maths hua...English abhi baaki hai..."Shriya said removing her english notebook..
"Aacha??Thik hai nikalo..."Shravan said disappointingly.."Kya diya hai HW??"
"A to Z se khud word banake likhne hai..."
"OK...Toh shuru ho jaao...A se??"
"Akdu.."Samar said in a moment..
Shravan was shocked..."Samar??akdu is not a word..."
"NAhi papa...akdu word hai...mummy apko bulati hai na..."Shriya supported her brother...
Shravan was left speechless..."Nahi beta...School mey ye word nahi chalta..."
"Par kyu papa??"
"Kyunki...kyunki..ye jo word hai na woh mummy ka secret word hai...toh isse hum nahi likhe sakte..."
"Ohh...Ok...Toh A se kya likhe??"
"A for apple hota hai na baby..."
"Par papa apple toh common hai..."Shriya said ..
"Toh A for Ant chalega??"Shravan said
"Yes papa...!!"Samar said and the twins wrote it down...

"M for.."
"Mumma..."Samar said
"Btea mumma nahi..kuch aur batao.."
"Par mumma word hai na papa..."Shriya furrowed her eyebrows
"Nahi beta...mumma toh hum pyaar se kehte hai..."
"Toh magic??"
"Yes...likho...M A G I C ..magic"Shravan prompted them...

"KNOCK KNOCK" Silence
"Bahadur kaka Shravan aur baache kaha hai??"
"Woh toh andar he hai..."
"Par darvaja...CHABBI...!!!"
She ran downstairs and brought the spare key and opened the door...
The sight was beautiful...and miserable too...Shravan was lying half on the bed and half down...Shriya had her head on his stomach and samar had his legs near his head...all of them sat in that bed which was covered with books...
She went towards them and put them in the right place...Pulled Samar and Shriya on the pillow and with very much efforts made her husband comfortable on the bed...She checked the books..the homework was completed...she smiled and reached out to the other side of the bed where her husband laid..deep in slumber..she kissed his forehead and pecked his lips..."Thank you hubby..."She whispered in his ears..and set down to the kitchen for making for him something worth his efforts...!!!Kaisa tha??Hope I didn't bore you...par kya karu...mai khud bore ho rahi hu😕😕
