Saanjh didn't have solid proofs to prove her mental illness. Arjun too doesn't have. If he supported, it would be so clear that he's siding his brother by faking stories!

I too am confused. Does Arjun believe Maya or not? If his love for her hasn't resurfaced why did he consummate his marriage again with Her? Or does he believe Ayan but in his own way he'd rather see his brother in jail but safe rather than free and vulnerable to Maya?

I think we are due a monologue from Arjun explaining his thoughts, fears, maybe his plans.. to get a clear picture of where his head's at... he is so far the most confusing character in the show but also the one who has always gotten the short end of the stick due to fate or his own faulty judgement

But I do agrrr that Arjun trusts only Saanjh, wants only Saanjh and likely only needs Saanjh. His face when he looked at Saanjh at the hospital and his thoughts when he called her are proof.Even mild heart attack, makes you re think things and puts a lot of things in perspective. And though Arjun and Vandana may have disagreements, that's his Mom, and it's likely to hurt.

Arjun wants both Maya & Saanjh in his life! And that is why he looks so confused!
But he deserves none! Not even his brother or step-mom!
He has to be left alone in his life!
But he is a lucky guy! an obsessive Maya will not leave him, till her obsession is broken , if ever, it were to happen!
Saanjh will not leave him if she finds him in grief!
Ayaan & Vandana are not that bad & eventually will forgive him, proving blood is thicker than water! ( He is of course not sharing blood relations with them!)
And he will always win hands down, never mind if he deserves it or not!

I sympathize with Arjun sometimes. Even feel bad for him. But then, I remember why I detest him so much. The guy is fickle. He can't make up his mind. He is rash and frankly stupid. I don't like him for the simple fact that he "knows" what Maya is capable of but does her bidding so blindly. Also, his feelings are like the breeze. Heading one way and suddenly another way. He loves his brother, he hates his brother. He "loves" Maya, he hates Maya, he "loves" Maya again. He is so inconsistent and confusing.

I want him to decide that he hates Maya, is scared of Maya and I want him to actively try to leave her. Not just intending to. The truth is he is not equipped to deal with Maya. I wish he had the wits to create a situation that will make...force Maya to leave him.

He needs to man up and make up his mind. For once. Just because Maya was allegedly assaulted doesn't mean he has to stay with Maya. He acquired "justice" for her. Now, just go back to your original plan and leave her...or make her leave you. Because its clear, he doesn't love her. He is just scared. Just leave.

I know, it's easier said than done. But, I had to rant.

I don't want to offend ArYa fans, but this ship has to go down. Arjun is scared of Maya, as he should be. I am a fan of Maya as a character, but Arjun and she are too different. He can't beat her at her own game. Ergo, he can't handle her.

The problem with the show is, Maya outwits everyone in everything. 🤣

Keeping my personal dislike for the character Arjun aside, I feel he is scared of Maya yes..but not for himself but for his family.. Before reconciling with his family, he was quite unabashed and unapologetic in his ways of expressing his hatred towards Maya.. but now he's scared that any attempt to get close to his family, will make them target of Maya's anger.. he feels responsible for Ayaan's actions and the situation he has landed himself in so he wants to avoid similar situation in future... however, I am confused about his stand on Ayaan's case.. Does he trust Maya or he knows Ayaan was trapped... Why did he feel the need to make love to Maya.. ?? If we go by the voice overs in that episode, he seemed to be genuinely concerned for her.. If he had any doubt on Maya, he could have just pacified her and pretended to be supportive of her but not gone to the extent of physical intimacy... I m not very convinced with the theory that he saved Ayaan ( from getting murdered by Maya) by sending him to jail.. He knows that Maya is capable of doing terrible things but murder..? even if she is, Arjun doesn't know that yet right? Also, if he really thinks she can murder someone why would he make love to such a person?
