Her hatred for Maya was theoretically blind, but for her, it was the resonance of her instinct, and you know what they say about maternal instinct, it's always right. Of course, that wasn't reasonable enough to dislike and humiliate Maya to no end, but that was what she believed in, and it isn't entirely wrong.

Fuchsia - Maya did not harm anyone before she entered the Sharma house, but at a given point she certainly would have. She needn't think twice if any of the family members diverted Arjun's attention from her and someone would have definitely ended up hurt.

Yet I have always said that whatever she did was wrong. Throwing garbage on any woman's head is shit wrong. I believe she could have taken jahnvi in her house. Specially she should have changed her decision when arjun decided to walk out. Her instincts were right but the tactics of handling situation is way too wrong. Had she kept arjun home by hook or by crook, things would have been better.
