The time which was stagnant turned back and now the stone of destiny glows once again for the two lovers to meet once again but only there was a little problem .
"Geeettt, in my cabin now", He yelled . A young lady stood up from her cabin to go her boss' who according to her knew nothing but to shout at her.
"Now what does this Raavan want. Babaji help your favorite child. This man must have been a demon in his previous birth as he does not know anything but to yell, I wonder how his vocal cords are still intact after all that yelling". "I told you we had to go to that weird shrine remember", He said without looking up . "I remember Sir". "So why did you not make the preparations"."It's because Sir , you were busy yelling at me that you did not notice the file I prepared was right on your desk". Maan now noticed the file with the blueprints and looked back at her .
"Hmm, good", He said looking in to the file. He had to say her designs were beyond excellent like always. Geet waited for the appreciation which never came as usual, she has been working in Khurana Constructions under him for a year now, and even if her work earned them big deals the man in front of her would never utter a word of appreciation for her.
As for Maan he has hired her a year back and her work was really outstanding but he would never applaud her and he knew she cursed him for that. "Okay , now let's go". They both started towards this shrine which their clients wanted renovated . He asked for the directions from local people but one of them warned them , "Sir that place is haunted", The man said. "Haunted , what non sense, we are in the age of machines and you still believe in those haunted tales", Maan said. "Sir , the legend says that there was a beautiful Princess and she loved her general but both were cursed and they ended in a never ending time loop , though they broke the curse and got married but still they could not last long and died with a promise to meet once again, but still you can hear their voices there", The man briefed them about the local legend. "Sir , I think we should retreat", Geet said nervously not liking the idea of ghosts.
"Oh come on Geet , this is just non sense , people die everywhere , so are those all places haunted , now get your act together we are going and that is final . Maan Singh Khurana never backs out from his work", He spoke in arrogance . "Sir , the ghost won't bother even if you are the king of the world , so let's retreat", She said. Maan was adamant and drove in the direction the man told . Driving a few miles they got to that old shrine, "Here it is . Woah its huge", He said looking at the building before him . "Let's go". "Umm...S..Sirrr, please let's think again , why to disturb the ghosts there", Geet stammered. "Geet , I thought you are a brave girl , but you are acting like a chicken now . Come on let's get to work", He said dragging her in. Once inside, both looked around the place , it was in a bad shape but still standing . Geet saw a chamber and she entered there , "Sir come here", She called Maan. Maan went in that direction, "What is it", He asked .
"Sir look at this , there is something there seems like another chamber", She said pointing in a certain direction . "Yup looks like it, let's go", He said walking ahead .As soon as they reached the door , the stone of destiny glowed once again , and then they heard a voice, "General , do you see that, its us". "Yes , Princess I guess you are right". "S..Sirrr, d..did y..you h..hear t...that, I.. I think I finally lost my mental stability with all of your yelling", Geet said holding Maan's arm tightly . "Shut up Geet, I can hear it too", He said. "Haww Sir that means you finally lost it too", Geet said."Geet it must be our hallucination and stop grabbing my arm so tightly", He said annoyed . "Is that the way , you behave with a young lady , young man", The voice roared. "Who is that", Maan asked in a louder tone. "Sir , it must be those ghosts , I told you we must not come here . Mr. Ghost we are leaving , so live here happily", Geet said . "No wait,"the female voice said and the next moment the door was shut . "Sir , I told you but you did not listen to me , now we are going to die and I'm not even married", She started wailing like a baby. "You are talking like I'm married and here we are in a situation and you want to get married , Geet you are really something", He said harshly making her cry louder.
"Young man , you should really be taught manners , I was never this indecent with the Princess," the other voice said . "Who are you show yourself ,is this some sort of prank", Maan spoke enraged . Maan then saw two figures appearing in front of him through the stone that was kept there . "Who are you and why do you look like me", He said looking at the General.
"Its because you are me but from this era . Though you got my good looks but you lack manners , young man", The General said displeased with his behavior . "You are now sounding rude to the child here , General", The Princess smiled ."Well he lacks manners Princess", The General said in his defense.
"You look like a prettier version of her", He said pointing to Geet whose wails have stopped and eyes widened looking at the two of those figures standing in front of her. "I'm her , I was the Princess of this country and he is my husband", She said pointing to the General .
"Sir , I guess this must be a hologram , you can never look this handsome...and you never smile", She said pointing at the general , who laughed hearing her . "We promised to meet again , and seeing you two here is a proof that we met again", The Princess explained . "You said , you were married then...",Geet asked . "Its true we were but our Kingdom was destroyed and we were stuck in a time loop due to a curse , we were together but could never meet , whenever we met we would separate , that is why we promised to meet again to become happy", The Princess said . "Looking at this rude young man here , I wonder how this is going too be", The General said.
"Hey , why are you only pinpointing at my attitude and not hers , look at her the clumsiest creature ever born", He said pointing at Geet . "What about you sir , all you know to do is yell, I wonder how your vocal chords survive all the strain you give them and most importantly , you don't even know how to smile", She accused him . "Alright you two , this was not what we thought we would be like when we met again, but well now we can rest in peace seeing our wish fulfilled",They said disappearing the next moment. Maan and Geet looked on as they vanished and then the stone of destiny that glowed once again , and they fainted .
The next they opened their eyes , they were somehow back to their office . "How did we get back here", Maan asked Geet who herself was confused . "I don't know Sir". "Okay , go home for today", Maan told her .
Maan watched her retreating back , he has liked her for long , but the clumsy woman won't get it , well not that she was to blame as all he did was yell at her. "I think you should tell her", He heard a voice . "Who the hell is it", He yelled again . "Really young man you are atrocious. If you keep up this fiery act the young lady will never consider you", The General said appearing in front of him. "Were'nt you resting in peace . And what do you mean by that", He said. "Well , young man you like that young lady why not tell her in a proper way , I was late in telling the Princess and we suffered a lot. I hope you do not make the same mistake. Even though we got back to our time and got married it did not last long so do cherish the time you are being given with her, tell her and do not repeat my mistake", General Maan said . "So you want me to tell her , well I don't know about your Princess but this version of her is really clumsy , talkative and stupid", He said. "You forgot cute , you like her admit it". After much cajoling Maan was ready to profess his love for Geet .
Geet too faced the Princess in her apartment. "The boy is really fond of you, dear", The Princess smiled. "You mean Maan Sir", Geet said and the Princess nodded. "Listen, I think you are mistaken the only thing he has ever been fond of is yelling, I can understand your husband must have been a nicer person but this version of him is a Dusht Danav,"Geet said. "The General was not good at words either. He never said anything to me until we were finally reunited after breaking the curse, though our time together did not last long", The Princess said. "So you should try giving him a chance too", Saying this she vanished leaving Geet in deep thoughts.
Next day , Maan was all set to confess and had repeated countless times in his head not to shout at her. "Okay , now lets see , I have to just tell her", He took in a deep breath. Geet was sitting in her cabin when her intercom rang , "Yes Sir , I w...", before she could complete she heard his voice, "Geet , I...I Love you , please marry me", He said it all in one go and on the other side of the phone he heard a thud .Poor Geet was unable to take this shock and fainted hearing something other than yelling coming from her boss . Though that Princess from the past did tell her that but she was too adamant to trust that . Maan rushed to her cabin to see shes fainted , "Geet , Geet wake up". After sometime she finally gained consciousness . "Ahh, Sir you are here , you know I just had a strange dream ...ahh no nightmare that you said something nice to me", She said . "So my proposal is a nightmare to you, I should have not followed that General's advise", He said .
"You actually proposed me...why",She asked confused . "Well isn't it obvious I love you , you are an idiot", He said annoyed . "Oh", She said thoughtfully. Maan was annoyed and thought to leave before he blasted on her for her stupid reactions. "The Princess was right then. Okay then I accept , happy", She said . "What kind of acceptance is that , its like you are not into it just accepting for namesake", He yelled . "Now that is like the person I know , I thought you are a different person", She laughed . "I accept now", She smile making him smile as well .
The stone of destiny now broke as its work was over it has reunited the lovers once again.
Never to part again they took the marriage vows going to start a new life together and always grateful to their past looking forward to a new future .
