Priyanka Chopra, who recently wrapped up season two of her American TV show, Quantico, which doesn't return for a third outing before July, is returning to Mumbai this weekend to more work. And while the 34-year-old actress is scheduled to meet a host of filmmakers and brands, and is shooting for an endorsement as soon as she arrives, Mirror has learnt that one of the Bollywood film's she is expected to finalise and shoot for this year, is Pink director Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury's yet-to-be-titled next " a suspensethriller, which PeeCee is rumoured to also be co-producing. Next week, the actress is set to meet the writer-director for a final narration, after which she will decide on signing the project.

Aniruddha, known for exploring the intricacies of human relationships in award-winning Bengali films Anuranan and Antaheen (the 2009 film bagged four National Awards), made his Bollywood debut last year with the Amitabh Bachchan-Taapsee Pannu-starrer Pink, which recently won a National Award for Best Film on Other Social Issues and went on to become the flag-bearer of consent with the catchphrase, "No means no". Fondly called, Tony Da, the Bengali filmmaker's next is a femalecentric thriller inspired by real events.

Expected to kick off by mid-year, the film will be shot across Mumbai, Goa and Kolkata in a startto-finish schedule, with the producers - Ajay Kapoor and Sam Fernandes - eyeing an early 2018 release.

Meanwhile, Priyanka will return to the US after the break to kick off international promotions for her Hollywood debut, Baywatch, which releases this May.
