Just loved your post, as always...!!😊 But honestly, I do not have any high hope on these CVs.. I was so eager for a separation track, a jealously track and a rejection from Annika's side.. none of my wishes has been fulfilled and I don't think that'll ever happen...!! I'll be happily surprised if whatever you said actually comes true, even in parts.. Like Shivaay winning Annika..!!

Now Copying from another post.. 😊.!! Few facts about the episode, my POV:

1. For some reason it seemed to me that the CVs changed the hospital track at the last moment.. The episode seemed too rushed for me. The way Annika was shown got hurt and then she was found happily chatting with Shivaay was too weird..

2. I could not feel any impact of the scene when Annika was shot.. the 'kal ho na ho' song was extremely distracting and super annoying.

3. Sahil-Shivaay scene was good, but I felt Sahil's part was rushed, probably they didn't have much time for the little one to practice.. Sahil was shown at the poolside rather than by Annika.. and he was calling Rudra as pahelwan' instead of Rudra bhaiya'..!! Weird..!

4. Om-Ru scene was ok for me.. Honestly, OM seemed a 'guest actor' to me.. He was even calling Rudra as Rudy'...!! I did not feel any magic that I used to feel earlier, the warmth was missing.. We need OBro moments in IB CVs, desperately... !!

5. I liked Shivaay-Pinky scene .. I know a lot of people are upset with Pinky's behavior, but it had a msg.. So far Shivaay was seen to care for everyone equally, impartially.. like OM mentioned.. Well he loves his brothers a lot and can die for them, but he never loses his cool when it comes to handle his family matter.. He never gave himself any priority while choosing between him and his family... And now it seems that he is relating/bonding to Sahil rather than his family members/brothes.. the point is that he can't take care of Oberoi family (read Pinky) if he is not stable himself.. And that's what his condition now..!! It was nicely shown that now he has a world of his own, with Sahil and Annika.. This is NEW..! Like you mentioned Shivaay was child-like with Sahil..

6. In the Shivika scene, I found it weird that Annika just gained sense and started to tease Shivaay.. I am not interested to hear Annika's love confession anymore.. If the CVs has decided to bring Shivaay's realization at a later point, that is ok with me.. but that doesn't mean that Annika should keep confessing her feelings.. It's more logical for her to actually tell Shivaay that she saw Kamini who shot at him.. but I loved the way they have started to share their food-drinks.. earlier they have shared same apple, coffee from same cup, and now water from same glass..

7. I loved Mahi-Kamini scene.. I am really liking this guy and hope that CVs don't kill him..

Some other facts:

1. Who changed Annika's clothes? We didn't have any answer for it at the time when Daksh tried to kill her.. CVs repeated the same thing..!!

2. It seemed that there is msg from the episode and that is Annika is becoming Shivaay's No.1 priority and he is unaware of that.. Rudra has got that hint.. Pinky has realized it from Shivaay's action.. and I am pretty sure, soon everyone will notice this shift in dynamics..

3. Rudy's beard needs to be well-maintained like Shiv-OM.. I just love Rudra, but today he looked shabby to me.. he should wear designer clothes and remain polished..

4. Annika's mangalsutra and bracelet need to be colored..

Love your analysis, so on point and regular-- no joke, the gifs are the best part of my night, so my plain, occasional ramblings are barely worth the time they take to read! But i'm glad you agree that one big issue with this episode is our expectations, and not necessarily just their execution. I am on the same boat as chotikikhushi and ancy19 and bakchod who are all so upset, as is nadaanmaskali with her list of hospital scenes which, honestly, got me through the weekend. But I had to take a deep breath and step back--because surely the CVs know the buildup was not worth just showing some surgical tape and a bed scene. I think the shaken Shivaay Singh Oberoi is key to this and this will be a transition of some sort between Shivika.

She has SAVED his life a hundred times, but never RISKED her life for him--and that has to play with his head. And I think it has, and has shaken him more than we saw in 20 minutes today.

I basically didn't enjoy the carrying and flashback scene that followed the shooting. For 5 days, we were imagining the terror in Shivaay's face, and we got Zilch. Not to mention the family looked at her running like she was crazy or demented.

But that scene with Sahil did show his fears. And when he scolded her for putting herself in danger, i felt the genuine unrest in him. He was utterly scared of almost losing her, and the resulting feeling he is suffering from.

Vulnerability is probably not a feeling SSO likes to feel.

See, I think the fact she is being so bold and open, so ready for the next phrase between them is exactly why he will back off-- because he is really freaking out at what all that would mean for him. NKK is there, but so is the terrifying chance of being fully vulnerable to this woman. His tears tonight, when he was basically just self-soothing, saying again and again its a fever its something that happens to anyone, nothing will happen, the doctors said it --it was very much an attempt to gain control--and it failed. Literally a child could see through him, and see how frightened he was.

Hence, all the issues in the forum.😆Up till last week, he was cornering her in random rooms of the house asking if she felt the Pain... seducing her and all. And yet, when she calls him cute and smiles back, he backs off like a scaredy-cat. Utterly confusing man.

And the problem is-- Shivaay Singh Oberoi does not do uncontrollable terror. He will push her away, because its too scary to have her so close. And he will do so with relatively full knowledge of her feelings, and even an inkling of his own, if OmRu have their way. But then again, NKK is such a convenient prop here.. sigh...

To me, Omkara and Rudra played the positive and negative arguments going on in Shivaay's head. Om is all about facts, This is what Shivaay said, so that is what Shivaay will do. But Rudra is vehement that he has changed and none of his prejudices will matter any more.

Is it wrong for me to love the jubilant confidence in Rudra's face?

No of course its not wrong-- but when it comes to the two brothers, I put my faith in Omkara and not Rudra when its a matter of analyzing whats going on with Shivaay. Rudra is all about what Shivaay SHOULD do, what he wishes for his brother, and its always loving and bright and filled with hope. But Omkara--he is the voice that predicts what Shivaay WILL do, and WHY.. and he is rarely wrong. I think we are building up to an emotional rejection of Anika. pinky will be for it, and all of Rudra's optimism wont cushion the blow that will come to Anika--especially if she is rejected after being so vulnerable and open and confident with him, about THEM, right now.

And this will be I think, their final hurdle--how he messes up, and fixes it.

You do think he will mess it up? perhaps. Or just another blackmailing vamp comes and forces his hand again.

You know, Navin, I wish she wasn't so available to him. Shivaay is so spoilt for choice, that he should worry that Annika might leave him, like he worried when Daksh was going to propose after just meeting her.

I almost wish, there was a REAL Rohit somewhere from Annika's life..😉, dancing Ainvayi and eating chaat with her, making her laugh and blush so sweetly.

Because until and unless the NKK is broken by forces GREATER Than Annika-- Mahi is a good one, a good blow for now--- she wont benefit from the changing Shivaay. She has changed him as much as she can, and has won the man's very heartbeat in doing so. But the rest of the journey --to win the man's acceptance--- that has to be Shivaay's-- not hers. It can be because of her, inspired by her. But that change has to be Shivaay's own, done to him, by himself. No one, not Om, not Rudra, can make him change his very beliefs. I actually think, depending on Mahi's timeline and his relationship to Shivaay--he might.

I was wondering if the writers had the guts to deal with complex sibling rivalry if Mahi were to be accepted as an Oberoi. Would he be gracious about it? Would he share what he gets as Shivaay, with his lookalike twin?

I dunno. I thought perhaps Annika will bond with him, being from similar background and all, making Shivaay's blood boil. But somehow I don't see it ever happening.

Any way, Thanks for your words. There is a reason I have spent last three hours on this forum looking for consolation, logic, something which could help me to accept what I saw today. I understand every thing you said but still I felt it was misplaced...didn't like the pace nor performance. For the sake of story, yes NKK has to be addressed but I had high hopes from today's episode.

Thank you for your post.

@ bold plan spend longer hours with my books...Kind of lost interest after yesterday's episode..
feel like the CVs made a big pappu of me...
