Happy Ending?

Why do we always think of happy ending as couples getting together in movies/show? Why does it have to so cliche everytime? People say reality doesn't have happy ending! In real life there is no happy ending. We all have our own thoughts on what we want to see in this show. Some want Dev-Sonakshi together and some don't!
I belong to the latter section. If I was in sonakshi's place I wouldn't have lived with a man like Dev and family like Dixit's.
But cvs will go after cliche "happy ending" and show they found their lost love and happily living with their daughter.. Suhana deserves both parents live but why should two people compromise? Doesn't every person have a reason to live a happy life? Why can't there be happy ending for a single parent? Holi has both parents with him but does he even get love and affection even from one?? Elena indirectly said she's compromising but for what?? She said Sona did right but then said get together with Dev? Why sudden change? Maybe she meant Dev is good as a person but not family (atleast I want to assume she meant so).
Cvs have ruined Dev's character to such an extent that it's beyond repair now. And they are hell bent on glorifying Ishwari! And now on the verge of ruining Asha's character as well!
I would love to see happy ending of the show with Sonakshi standing strong and tall as a single mother! She doesn't have to prove that she's good or bad mother to anyone. All mothers grow up with kids. But unfortunately Ishwari din grow up and nor allowed Dev to grow up!

I doubt if Sona will live with dev. For soha's sake this arrangement. But how long? They have office and normal life to live. So after Eshwari 's entry there will be a change.
