Did we not tell you about the amazing turnaround of Akshay Kumar's life? This just proves that the memory of the audience is short and the PR people know that. Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar are proofs of that theory. With Akshay, his wife, Twinkle Khanna, probably wanted the image change. That's why from being a private couple, they suddenly started publicising their love for each other on social media. The results were good, the media started calling them the loving couple or some crap like that. Then, her book released and was successful. Her writing pieces too in the local newspaper generated good responses. This is like a second calling for her, a way for her to feel important and be relevant in the media. And he helped her achieve that. It's good for her, if she knew how to get him to turn their lives around. Well, let's be clear. In the media and public, their lives have certainly turned around but we doubt anything has changed in private. Don't get us wrong, we are not jealous or anything. It's just that we can smell hypocrisy from this whole thing.
Recently, Akshay Kumar was interviewed by Mumbai Mirror and in his interview, he talks about how all he wants is to make his wife happy. Maybe she's the one, who wanted him to have all these affairs, who knows? He also spoke about the mockery that his National Award win generated and how Priyadarshan already gave a reply on this whole thing. To be fair, all Priyadarshan could do was brought up the fact that when Amitabh Bachchan won for Piku', it was because of his good friend, Ramesh Sippy, who was the head of jury. We think Priyadarshan is just saving face, he did want to award Akshay, but at least it could have been for Airlift'. Akshay also talked about box office clashes and how it should not destroy personal relationships. He should tell that to Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgan and the Roshans. But clashes don't affect Akshay, because he has like a gazillion releases in a year. If he really cared, he would have been pissed at SRK for destroying his films. In this interview, he also spoke about his role in Padman'. We do hope with this movie, they help the millions of girls that don't have proper access to supplies when they have their menses.
Also, someone should ask him if he's ever going to move to Canada since he got himself and his whole family the Canadian citizenship? We are interested to know.
