I feel it's more Gauri's love for Omkara than her majboori.

She was in dire need of a job so she approached Swetlana for job but Swetlana refused her saying that she needs a boy and not a gal for her job.

Gauri then becomes chulbul to work for Swetlana but when she gets to know she has to do jasoosi on swet's fiancee,she refuses it but again accepts it because she needed money for her mother's treatment.

Then she realizes it's Om's house and she has to do Om's jasoosi so again she refuses but swet forces her to do the job because she has paid her 3 months advance salary.

But did she do Swetlana's job?No!She backstabbed Swetlana numerous times and was helping Om.Did she think about her majboori? Did she think that she's cheating a woman who helped her for her mother's treatment?

Of course the cvs can give the excuse that Swetlana was an evil woman so there's no question of Gauri helping her. But then Gauri didn't help Om because Swetlana was evil. She helped him because he is her 'pati parmeshwar' and doing his seva was her 'dharam'. So from where does the majboori come here?

Gauri is not revealing her identity to Om because of the bareili incidents. 'Majboori' is not the right word. Majboori tab hoti if she had helped Swetlana and not Om. She is helping Om with her own will. Swetlana told her to do something and she's doing exactly opposite.

As someone here said,if she's majboor then Ishana had a bigger majboori than her but people still haven't forgiven her for what she did. Gauri's so called majboori is nothing in front of Ishana's.

Jhanvi listen gauri side story then asked her to leave . So definately jhanvi is not hypocrate . Jhanvi behaved as a mother

This is the problem with character sketch of gauri, she is uneducated but at times smart, one side she says she is religious n is lying her identity every second , isn't lying n cheating a sin , not single lady in ib or dbo is strong n mature, self explanation of wrong deeds doesn't make you a good person, the story line is recycled but at least they could have sketch the FL interesting , i find both gauri n jhanvi hypocrite today, but jhanvi as mother was right,i want to watch dbo for omru but as ss taken by crying gauri/chulbul or swetlana that i take break from show ,

Being lied to is a very unpleasant feeling. You feel betrayed and no matter how you try, it's very hard to move past it. I remember I had a friend in University. When I joined, she was already a 2nd year. I didn't know what had happened the previous year. I found out around a year later than 99% of what she had told me about her life was lies.

She told a whole pack of lies about this guy she said liked her. But it turned out she had liked him and stalked him and he even took out a restraining order. I supported her to a bunch of people and told off that guy one time and I found what actually happened. I felt like a fool. I felt so betrayed. To this day, I remember the shock I felt. I just could not be her friend after that. I was so betrayed. So I understand how it feels when someone lies to you about something so big.

Jhanvi was right. Omkara will only feel betrayed again and as a Mother she was trying to stop that from going any further. In her shoes, I would do the same. Maybe Jhanvi thinks if she listens to Gauri, she will just spin wheels again. Jhanvi and her sons have been betrayed by many people, including their own husband/father. Not only that their family has seen many people trying to use them. So in her shoes, she doesn't want to give Gauri the benefit of the doubt in fear of getting the same result again.

I think even Om's judgment of Gauri was so quick for the same reasons. He had already seen his cousin conned by his fiancee, and his family was being conned by Svetlana. He had already had Ridhimma and Ishana fool him. He had enough of trusting people. In this case when he saw what he saw of Gauri and KT, he decided to take things at face value. He is wrong, but unfortunately this is what happens sometimes. When the wrong people betray us, even when the right person comes along, we can't see their truth. Because we are blinded by prejudice. That is what is happening here and it is actually quite realistic for a change! If one knows the Oberoi's history with Dhoka, then we won't be so quick to judge them either!
