Dev was planning so much for Suhana's stay at his place. And all his hopes dampened because of chickenpox.
Chickenpox is not contagious as far as I know. When my daughter got chickenpox, both myself and my husband were with her sleeping in the same bed. We did not contract CP.
Doctor also permitted us to travel by plane with our daughter.

chicken pox is highly contageous.. anyone who hasnt had it.. can get it. adults who never had it can easily get it and its worse of it strikes adults.. very painful!!! only ppl who have had it are allowed to be near the patiend.. no school, no travel!

Yup its contagious. I was told to not attend school for 2 weeks 😆😆 After it starts drying then its not contagious.

Chicken pox is a contagious disease and majority of us get it when we are kids. But, some unlucky ppl dont get it when they are kids and they are susceptible and may get it when they are adults and it may take longer time to heal if they get it when they are adults.

In this particular track, looks like Dev is the that unlucky guy who did not get chicken pox when he was a kid and hence he needs to stay away. people who got chickenpox once will not get it again in their life time ... except that this disease can occur in other form called shingles when we get old (50-60+) and our immunity is not that great and it is extremely painful.

Since Sona and looks like Elena already got chicken pox when they were kids - they can be around Soha and take care of her... Unlike Dev or Golu who never got it...

I know the Show may sometimes show a lot of illogical tracks - but this is not one of them..

Sorry to say Chicken pox contracted when an adult is worse...My sister who got it around 24 ,unmarried at that time had issues n was referred to gynec n was on medication more than 7 mnths .She had a minor operation too...We thought initially this was funny but later such thing again happened in one of my distant relative n they had another issue vich transpired to other ailments...!So speaking from xperience...!The recovery is not that easy

The best thing is admitting Soha to some hospital till she gets cured.
Keeping Soha at home and expecting worried Dev not to be near her is impossible.
Some people have less immunity and some have strong immunity. that makes some difference.
