Why suraj lie to chakor

Any one notice in yesterday's episode suraj lie to chakor that he slept back and imli infront like both slept on different row why he lied if nothing wrong he shuld say truth this will create major

I already sensed something like that is going to happen when I first watched the episode yesterday. I am sure that photos from Imraj's hassen car ride are going to come out and that is going to backfire against Suraj because of the lie he told Chakor that he was on the back seat and Imli was on the front seat. That mechanic could also reappear in the future especially after the look her gave and commentary he passed on Imraj. There surely was something in the cv's mind behind having that mechanic withness Imraj sleeping in such a position so he could reappear as a withness against Imraj in the future.

I just don't understand why Suraj needed to lie if there was nothing to feel guilty about and we all know nothing happened in that car. That uneccessary lie is going to now cause problems in their life in the future. Chakor never even asked him to justify himself that what was the need to even mention it or even worse lie? That shameless Imli could have said the truth as well but no she decided to keep quiet. Chakor trusts Suraj so much and look what he has just done I feel bad for Chakor.
