"A True love story never ends"
Past
The General was on one of his visits, when he discovered a figure surrounded by a fiery golden red aura near the pond behind the Palace. On inspecting, he found it was something like the Princess, he was shocked and tried to call her out, "Princess is that you, what are you doing here". The figure turned and grinned and then disappeared into nothingness. The General decided to investigate further, and decided to inform the King. "Maan, what is it", The King asked. "Forgive me Sire, for disturbing you, but there is something that I would like to bring to your attention", Maan said. "Speak up child", The King always had a soft corner for Maan so when no one was there he would address him fondly. "I found a strange illusion outside the castle", He said. "What did you see", The King asked. "Something like the Princess", He told. "But Geet did not leave the premises today", The King was shocked. "Sire, I know it was not the Princess but we have to be careful to ensure her safety, she is the Priestess holding the greatest power and also is the key to the Stone of Destiny", He said. "I know Maan, that is why I appointed you for her safety", The King said. "Sire would you want me to tighten the security more", Maan said desperately. "I will think of a way soon", The King said. Maan nodded and left his chambers still in deep thought.
"That General, he spoiled my plans", The Sorcerer said. "Sir, I found something interesting about the King", Said his minion. "What is it", The Sorcerer asked. "Sir, the King was cursed by a family, who vowed revenge upon him for killing their beloved in a war. The family is no more, the last descendant died too, so we could use that", He said. "Very good", He grinned.
The Princess had another vision that night, a vision of a different world, "Where am I". She looked around and found Maan at a distance but as she tried to reach him, he vanished and she looked at her own body turning to dust, "What is happening". She woke up and looked around to find herself, in her room. "Must be another vision but why", She thought. "I must not worry my father or Maan about it", She thought decisively. Maan on the other hand was worried about her too, but then made a firm resolve to get to the bottom of this.
One day General Maan was summoned by the King . He entered the King's chambers and was welcomed by the King . "Your Majesty, is there anything you want me to do", He asked. "Yes General , I want you to marry my daughter",The King said making the general shocked. "Sire, but I'm not of a noble blood",Maan spoke reluctantly. "My child, you may not be of noble blood but you have a noble heart which is needed the most to be a good ruler"."Sire, but will the Princess agree", He asked hesitantly. "Yes, I will". They turned around to hear Geet's voice. "I'm very happy for the two of you. Let us begin the preparations."
Later again Geet visited Maan's chambers secretly, "You won't stop coming here right". She spoke nothing and hugged him shocking the General, "I'm so happy, now we can finally be together". "Are you really happy", He asked.

"Yes, and now you have to address me as Geet", She grinned. "Alright, alright, I will but after we are married", He smiled."Why not now", She pouted. "Well because...", he was going to give the same reasons so she interrupted him, pouting "Forget that, I won't talk to you, I'm leaving". "Alright good night, Princess Geet", He smiled. The Princess stomped her foot. He smiled looking at her retreating figure, "Next time I will surely tell her about how much I love her". Maan was really happy too getting married to her was a far fetched dream but he was more happy as her father trusted him, he was always grateful to the King for his benevolence and was now even more, he was always a father figure to him, but what he did not know that there won't be any next time now. "Huh, just look at him, he still won't address me without titles", Princess was pacing angrily in her room but a sudden knock disturbed her thoughts and ...
Their marriage was announced all were happy except their enemies. The day of the marriage arrived, Princess Geet was not herself , Maan noticed that. He could not pinpoint to what exactly was wrong with her but something was off. As she came down the hall, he heard a strange voice , "No its the Princess' voice . Where are you", He said aloud . "What is wrong with you General , I'm here. Are you trying to question me", She said with rage which even surprised her father and the people as their Princess was a gentle soul . "You are not her , now tell me what have you done to her , before I kill you", Maan said taking out his sword. "So you caught me General", She said in a different voice the facade fading and a different person standing in front of them . It was the same wizard who have been plotting against the Kingdom, who disguised himself as the Princess.
"Your love for the Princess is really marvelous, when even her father was not able to hear her voice you did, so now let me introduce you to the Princess", The wizard said taking out a glass tube. The General saw the Princess there , the King got furious and ordered others to capture the Sorcerer , but before they could , Maan got hold of the person and threw him away trying to get the Princess out. "Tell me why are you doing this", Maan asked. "Why ...because of the King and his army I suffered the loss of my beloved so I curse this family that their precious daughter will bear the same ", He lied using the previous information he received from his minion.
He turned to the General and cursed them."I curse you and the Princess with immortality , but even if immortal you will start a new journey over and over with new memories, but will never be together with one another, even if you meet again and again. The memories of the people around you will also be altered. They will accept you as you are not really remembering if you were ever born but believing you are a part of their world", The man said in rage. The King cried helplessly remembering the incident now because of his deeds his child is suffering , he begged the man to show some mercy. "Please take my life but please let my daughter go , today was supposed to be the happiest day for her , I beg you", The King pleaded . Looking at the young lovers, he said , "The Princess will know how to break the curse when the time comes", He said . The Sorcerer then turned to the General , "So General will you bear the curse with the Princess or do you regret loving her". "I don't regret loving her, for her I will bear the curse with her . I'm ready to be imprisoned with her and wait till the time comes".
After them being imprisoned the Kingdom was lost and soon being attacked by the enemies it was ruined . The General and the Princess lived on in different eras , but again were affected by the curse whenever they met each other . With no memories of the original time line, they were lost in this never ending cycle.
"The food was great, thanks", The Professor thanked. "I'm glad Professor, now do you need any help for breaking that code", She asked. "Definitely , two heads are always better than one right", He smiled . "Geettt, the time has come", Geet heard that strange voice again. "Professor did you hear that", She said . "Hear what", He asked . "A voi...", before she could complete she fainted . Maan rushed to her trying to wake her up . "Geet ,...Geet what happened , hey wake up". Suddenly she opened her eyes. "You scared me", He said . "I'm fine, could you take me to the stone", She said . "We were going there , but you..", before he could complete she cut him , "I said take me to the stone General", She said in a harsh way. "General...Who is the General Geet . I'm the Professor , are you alright", He asked . "Not Geet, I'm the Princess of this Kingdom". "Okayyy, now you are acting weird guess all this trip really got to you , we will talk in the morning , good night".
Before he could leave she caught his arm , "I have awaken from the dream General but you are still asleep , we must end this now , before we forget again"."You are not making any sense here Geet, well if you are so adamant , I will take you there". He guided her to his tent where the stone was kept. She touched it and it glowed again . She read the incantation on the stone and now Maan was standing in what seemed like a past era in a shrine where he saw the Princess and the General and was shocked to see that it was him and Geet . Again the time turned and now he was standing in the court where the curse was laid , but then there came another scenario the man who cursed them was a demonic Sorcerer and was still alive , he lied for his personal reasons framing the King and it was him who destroyed the Kingdom not the enemies for his own personal interest and was crowned the King .However the Stone was beyond his reach as he could not enter the shrine, because of his impure heart.
Now he was back in this era , he remembered his past and turned to Geet who smiled, "Now do you remember General , we are not from this era, we don't belong here , but before that we need to demolish that man as only his end will help us free from this cycle", She said. "I do remembernow", He said closing his eyes to locate the evil aura of the Sorcerer."He is here I can sense him", He said . He went outside and looked around to the same place where he found the stone . There stood that man, "Both of you are awaken now, but how will you kill me General". "I know of a way, you took me by surprise the last time disguising yourself as my trusted maid tricking me but not this time", The Princess said this time. Saying this she took out the same glass tube in which their souls were imprisoned for long. "How did you get that", He said . "That is nothing to do with you . You destroyed our Kingdom , kept us imprisoned , you lied to my father about him being a sinner, now I won't let you imprison us again", Saying that she read the incantations on the stone and the tube , combining their strength , they were free of the curse . With them free , now the man was a mortal too . Maan lunged at the man and caught him , the Princess broke the glass tube and using it as a weapon she stabbed him , "Princess you have broken my spell , but you two will perish along with me", Saying this his body turned to dust . "Princess are you alright", Maan rushed to her.The time started to turn again they were going back in their era. "Yes General but now our cycle ends . Its funny as we have just month only a month ago and its already time to say goodbye. Though this time it will be the last goodbye, our legend comes to an end to begin again . Hope we will meet again in our next birth and have a new beginning.Till then, let's make the time remaining in our era beautiful. And you have to call me Geet this time", She smiled .
"We will , I promise, my beloved Geet", They hugged saying this until their bodies disappeared.
Here is the last part of the story, please do give your honest reviews regarding it😃 My sincere apologies to all who did not wanted this story to end this soon, but it was originally only a 4 part story to which I added considerable parts for better explanation of this, so sorry about not stretching it more.
