Arnav's office had transformed into Fantasy Land. Every time he looked at any flat surface, he could only imagine Khushi stretched out over it... naked.

NK sat at the table at the cafe, sipping a coffee as he waited for Lavanya.

It was the strangest business. Khushi-ji and Nanav had never met up as Kirti and Ashish. Yet no news of any pending divorce between them had reached NK. After he'd spilled the truth about Arnav being on Tinder to Khushi accidentally, he'd expected to have gotten to least ONE phone call. From Arnav. Telling him he was an idiot.

But there hadn't been a whisper. HAD they found out the ENTIRE truth or not? Arnav hadn't let on anything that morning at the office. He'd just coolly ignored him.

NK's eyes widened as a horrible idea struck him. Could it be...? Could it be that they HADN'T figured out that they'd really been talking to each other the entire while and... and when Khushi-ji confronted Nanav about 'cheating' on her, he'd... he'd-he'd KILLED her?

He hadn't seen or heard from Khushi-ji since yesterday afternoon. NK's heart pounded heavily in terror. He drank his coffee in bigger gulps.

Spotting Lavanya walking towards his table, though, anxiety replaced all concerns about Arnav and Khushi from NK's mind.

This was it. His big moment.

His hand moved to his pocket involuntarily as he stood up to give Lavanya a kiss.
