Both the performances are memorable and the characters of Baburao and Gabbar have became iconic. But which performance is better?? According to me, it's Paresh Rawal as he owned the movie by his performance. Baburao was the best thing about Hera Pheri. While in Sholay, the script and dialogues were the best thing and then the performances.

Paresh Rawal gave a better performance but Gabbar is one of the most iconic BW characters EVER
