I always said the national awards mainly go to patriotic type films so it happens

Good for Akshay. He is a good actor most of the time. I really liked Jolly LLB 2

Wonder if he delivers another national award performance in houseful 4 😆

Just letting you know Airlift was more patriotic and rather a better film

Don't know why to a pathetic film like Rustom where a lead murdering a guy who took sexual benefits outta his wife and getting away with it gets a special recognition by Indian government

Never saw Ruston. Saw Airlift and loved it. Glad Akshays work was appreciated by someone

It's just interesting that Akshay kumar star of such classics as Chandini Chowk to China, Tees Maar Khan, Blue, Action Replayy and Joker is a national award winner 😆 😆

Here is the list of National Awards for films announced on Friday.

Best actor: Akshay Kumar for "Rustom

Best feature film: Marathi film "Kaasav"

Best actress: C.M. Surabhi for her role in Malayalam film "Minnaminungu-The Firefly".

Best director: Rajesh Mapuska for his Marathi film "Ventilator".

Best film on social issues: Amitabh Bachchan-starrer "Pink"
