Rishikesh is a beautiful place & does indeed give a lot of peace. Doesn't matter what religion you're from, it gives peace to all. <3 DP looks so beautiful & contemplative, I reckon she's been soaking up the peace in the atmosphere too. <3

pouring water on globe,seems they are praying for world peace as d whole world burning with different demons,terrorism,jealousy,hatred etc.. so pouring water on it for peace it seems lol

Looks like DP went for a spiritual retreat to Paramrth Ashram in Rishikesh...can see Swami Chidananda & Sadhvi Bhagwati performing Aarti in first pic...good...this should keep her grounded.

Watering globe, such rituals are to appease international audiences. Travel to these places and you can see even pandits deceiving foreigners.

I love Rishikesh. Had been there for a week with family. Best time spent. It's so serene and divine. Even if you are not religious, Nature just takes you in.

Haridwar is little dirty. But 45 mins drive from there and you are in heaven - Rishikesh. Couldn't believe I did 5 AM Ganga bath and actually freaking loved it.

When I told my college friends that I am going to Rishikesh -- their first reaction was -- LOL. What? Bhajan karegi for whole week. I wish the place was more promoted for Tourism and it's beauty!
