Today's episode had me facepalming throughout
What mess DevAkshi are seriously?!
If you involved even 50% with this show, I can guarantee insanity to you.š
Lets rewind the episode :
Golu blurting all the secrets out. Such a cutie pie he isš¤£ Dev shushed him before he spilled more beansš
Dev does into defensive mode when anyone mentions about his feelings for Sonakshi.
Ronita's mom is greedy. Opens her mouth like an alligator for money.
Me : Waahš Is there any character who can not be troublesome now?
Dev shares his doubt with Sona. She outrightly rejects his apprehensions.
Me: š³, but okay you have your own reasons to be defensive.
Dev turns Devta.
Me : Dev, you are selfless sometimes. Your intentions are pure and you mean no harm. But why is it necessary to complicate things further like this

His efforts are targeted to mend things for Sourab Ronita. He doesn't want any other pure bond to go through the same turmoil because of family drama, which DevAkshi's relationship went through.
He is an armour for the Bose family and also for a relationship he can relate to Devakshi.
The in-love phase of Sounita is comparable to Devakshi's initial days right?
Sonakshi is shocked Dev could do this. Soha understands her father is no thief.

Sonakshi you disappointed when you believed that Dev could do something like that. Has she failed to understand what real Dev actually is, that she doubted that he could do something like this?
On one hand, Dev is aghast at Ronita's mother's allegations on Sona (who was trying to take advantage of Dev and Sona's bitter past) and here Sonakshi did not even trust Dev enough to know he could never steal.
*Facepalm*
While that little girl without any explanation could see it all! Could understand what her father was upto.
Nothing of this, Sona could see.
This is what happens when your eyes are clouded by ego and a bitter past.
Everything you see is actually an illusion then.
Sonakshi shares with Jatin how she thinks Dev can never do anything to fall down in the eyes of Soha.
Me: Good going Sonakshi. You should also know that, it is so not Dev to steal jewellery (really, how could anyone think he would steal some shining pieces of gold?!)
But then, her plight is understandable.
On one hand is her heart which says Dev cannot do it, on another is her brain..which keeping Dev's past record and his own admittance in mind..says otherwise.
Asha determined and confident, asks Sonakshi to leave the decision to her š
Ishwari calls and Dev says,
"Tum meri maa aur pariwar ke baare me aisa nahi bol sakti"

Was there really a leap of 7 years in the show?š
As far as we could see, Sona gave a very general statement about their families. Both the families.
Not Ishwari.
If Dev still hasn't understood what role his mother and family played in the failure of his relationship, it is better they stay miles away from each other.
That means he hasn't learned anything from the past 7 years.
While Dev wants to save Sounita's alliance because he doesn't want history to repeat.. Sonakshi wants the same. But she wants everything to be cleared before marriage, so that history doesn't repeat after marriage, not before it.
