By hook or crook Arjun want to escape from Maya's grips as of now. But then what's next. She won't bother him any more? He won't be concerned for her anymore? ... and if so he never loved her. Had he ever loved her with true heart he will return to her some day.
Or else a possibility is Maya realising the person who loves her truly say Samay and freeing Arjun for his well being and moving on with Samay. But Maya being the extreme person the word compromise or samajdaari and Maya doesn't sound convincing together.
