exactly instopped watching Indian idol after Prashant Tamang won.
Also when Qazi won fame gurukul, I realized audience vote makes no sense.

I'm not against voting for looks, style, etc, but atleast the winner should be able to sing.
Let's face it there are singers better than Revanth but I am voting for him for his overall personality.
If I want to see a singer on screen I want him to have some charisma. Ofcourse I love Revanths voice as well!

But deep within I don't want Revanth to win only because the winners haven't made it big. Unless he changes history of course.
Qazi was made winner to maintain Secular fabric of india.. Similarly right now khudabaksh is gonna be made winner..

Khuda Baksh will win as he is Channel-Judges favorite..He is given undue-undeserving Air-TV time. Too many emotional stories.

Sad to see Malvika out and KB still in. 😭

Now I am hoping for ROhit or Revant to win. Foolish me 😉😆

Best wishes to Maalvika for her future. 👏⭐️

Qazi won due to the stupid game Shamit & Arijit played. Even I being music lover was rooting for Qazi at the end as I got tired of political games being played by the contestants.

Arijit has come a long way since than. He should have won FG.

II 1 should have been won by Ameya
2 Karunya

Same with SRGMP C-05 should have been won by Nihira Joshi or Hema Chandra.

Khudabaksh will win though it should have been one of these 4 Maalvika, Rohit, Revant or Shravan

Revanth should win and will win, and usually they do not rig finale votes. Sreeram and Anjana have already shown that a South Indian can be a winner. The only way KB can win is if votes get divided between the two Andhra guys. But given Revanths popularity I think it is a fat Chance. Hope that idol get a deserving winner again after sreeram and if not Revanth then Rohit should win.

If aawaz, andaaz and riyaaz are given equal weightage like sonu said today, Revanth should pakka win.
But, because this is mainly singing show and if riyaaz is given more weightage then Rohit should win.
I dont see any particular reason why khudabaksh should win..

I noticed somebody here saying that kb should win because to save secular fabric of India.. i mean seriously..? what about the actual fabric of India? If you don't recognize and appreciate the talent of where it is due.. be it south indian or north or east or west people. People are watching and are not blind, isnt it dangerous for actual fabric of india.. so please stop saying secular fabric and all..

And coming to accent.. hindi accent.. all the three contestants doesnt have correct hindi accent..Revanth has south indian accent. Khubaksh hindi majorly has Punjabi accent..
Rohit accent is more neutral when singing because he is hyderabadi and hindi is majorly spoken there.. karunya and sriram chandra are hyderabadi too.

If people like punjabi accent better than other accents.. khudabaksh ISHQ ko ISSQ ISSQ boltha hai. If people feel that is ok and dont like south indian accent, Then there is nothing other contestants can do about it. So its better to change the show to "north indian and hyderabadi idol". Then no serious talents from other parts of the country will even try. Am sure tamilnadu will not send serious talents to indian idol for the next few times atleast.

I agree that regional influence is there in the show but to be fair, Malavika reached top 4 and Revanth top 2 and that would not happen if people did not vote for them. And if Revanth wins tomorrow, which I doubt too, the unbiased gesture of north Indians should be undoubtedly appreciated. Most of the Revanth's fans that I am finding in Youtube or FB are from north and not to forget other guys who have better accent were asked to leave the show. So, I believe it is not accent but may be something else like the sympathy factor, the drama KB is bringing to the show, the songs he is selecting etc. Look at the way he spoke today. He took every opportunity to remind people about his village, his family background and his innocence. Not once, not twice but everytime he took the mike, he did that. May be he was genuine or may be he wasn't, but it does work in his favour.

There's always been regional influence. And honestly that's ok.
People are entitled to vote for reasons they choose. Not all people vote for talent - simply because they aren't qualified enough to judge talent.

The moment judges aren't the ones who decide the winner is usually not the most talented (actually even with judges you can't be sure, but still it's better). Let's face it haven't we voted for our favourites even when his/her performance was bad?

Honestly in a singing show everything matters - accent/diction included. But like I said the audience judges based on other things not just the way a person sang.

What's worked for Revanth is not just his singing, but his looks, style and charisma. For Khudabaksh it's his singing (I don't like it, but people do), innocence and sob stories. While what's worked for rohit is mostly his singing and the fact that he overcame his stammering.

I have a problem with KB bringing up his sob stories, but that's bringing him votes and trps for the channel. And today we clearly saw his fan following in indore was the biggest.

All three have awaaz - I may not like someone's awaaz, but clearly they are all good (or for some atleast above average).

Riyaaz - definitely all three practice. There's no way they'd reach this far without riyaaz.

Andaaz - clearly Revanth is the only one with andaaz. The other two lack andaaz.

So Revanth should win.

But do you think the audience dissects and judges each parameter before voting? Definitely not.

I won't be surprised if someone else wins.

It seems to be a battle between Revanth and Khudabaksh.

While I want Revanth to win, what's more important is that his career takes of, with or without winning.

I agree with you both vinay and raina. Thats why i did not talk about regionalism. Home states rooting for their boys is fine and is expected ofcourse. And also agree that only accent is not noticed for judgement. Proof:
1. Revanth was always first contestant to go to next round since the voting started. From top 8 to top 3 consistent. That would bot have been possible if there is regionalism.

2. delhi boy mohit is out before maalavika. So, accent was nott the main thing.

But, my point is when ever there is topic about accent in social media or even the judges, they say south ka khushbooand south tadka and asking constanstants to improve. Which is totally fine and correct to point out.. but why not also talk about punjabi tadka, somehow issq seems to be acceptable. That never seems to be asked to improve ot pointed out as negative. That was only my point on accent.

The worst, most besura singer Revanth won!
We wanted Khuda Baksh to win as he was the best singer, even Rohit would have been a better choice as he had classically trained voice but the worst singer of all the top 3 won ..

Mohit should have been a finalist and won ...he was really really good

This is why I stop watching Indian Idol halfway through each season because they always eliminate the better singers and the final winner is always the crappiest
