Shakun Batra, whose recent video Genius of the Year on Alia Bhatt went viral, has done it again. This time though the director's venture will feature Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra, Arjun Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinnha. However, we aren't talking about a film, but in fact of a special video Shakun has developed for the upcoming Mumbai Film Festival (MAMI).

In fact we hear that the Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu director has managed to also rope in Imran Khan, Huma Qureshi, Anurag Kashyap, Imtiaz Ali and Rajkumar Hirani to feature in the video. As for the video, the featurette will emphasize the need to keep MAMI alive and share stories about why the annual celebration of cinema means so much.

While the video will be directed by National Award-winning duo, Satyanshu and Devyanshu Singh, Shakun will be part of the same as a creative advisor. Interestingly while the initiative has been put together by Anupama Chopra, we hear that the industry biggies will not be charging any money for this shoot.

Fawad's role was rejected by Saif, Farhan, Hrithik, ARK, Shahid. I think even Varun was offered.

This is the story of every outsider. They get what has been declined by every industry insider. Even SRK's role in Darr was declined by many.

Outsiders have to do roles which are risky and make it work. While insiders get everything tailor-made for them.

Didn't Bewda Rishi Kapoor claim recently that Darr was offered to him but he rejected, and recommended SRK's name for that role? SRK should be indebted to Rishi Kapoor... saari zindagi bhar.
