It didnt happen in 2000. It happened sometime between 2003 and 2004 when Vivek and Aishwarya did the movie Kyun..Ho Gaya Na! Around that time Vivek and Aishwarya were seeing each other and Salman couldn't stand it when Vivek openly announced his desire to marry Aishwarya. And then Salman's fans went around and started spreading negativity against Vivek and his later movies. "Yeh bhai ka dushman hai iski film mat dekhna!!!" And this is how Vivek's career got ruined!
