Part 2

It's first day of Asad and Zoya's college. There was only orientation today so the college had half-day. Asad and Zoya were sitting with their friends in the canteen.

"Zoya, do you had any boyfriend in London?" asked Roshni.

"I had dated few guys but none of them could last long," replied Zoya.

"Cool," said Asad and asked, "Which was your longest relationship?"

"4 months," replied Zoya, "No one lasted long enough to have liplock with me."

"So you have not kissed anyone yet?" asked Veer.

"I have kissed but only on forehead, cheeks and hand," replied Zoya with a laugh.

"Now are you still expecting a new boyfriend?" asked Sid.

"I don't think so. I will only focus on my studies," replied Zoya.

Asad's face fell hearing this. He did not knew why he reacted like this.

"Well, what about you guys?" asked Zoya.

"I never had anyone in my life before but now I think I will find someone soon for me," replied Veer with a smile staring at her carefully.

"Why you feel so?" asked Sid.

"Sometimes you meet someone when you don't expect," replied Veer.

"What about you, Asad?" asked Roshni.

"I had a girlfriend during my 1st year of college but I broke up with her after 2 months as she was with me only due to my family name and would demand expensive gifts every week. She got another rich guy the next day of our break up. After that, I dated one more girl who was traditional. She is my cousin on recommendation of her parents but she was too boring. I could not last with her for even 2 weeks as she would lecture my sister for being modern," replied Asad.

"That's the reason we hate some of our relatives as you saw in our house warming party. They used to lecture me and Humeira on how to dress up and how to talk with others. I believe in live and let live which they don't understand," said Zoya.

"What about you both?" asked Veer to SidNi.

"We are first and definitely last of each other," replied Sid with a smile.

"Oh ho ho," teased Asad while SidNi blushed.

"Lets go home now," said Roshni to change the topic.

"Yes," said Zoya.

Days went by. The 5 friends became more closer. Imraan, Humeira, Ayaan and Najma too made some new friends in their college. Soon Asad and Zoya fell in love with each but unaware of each other's feelings. Veer too fell in love with Zoya and hoped to confess soon to her but he did not knew that he will be heartbroken as unknown to him Asad too decided to confess to Zoya.

2 months after the college started, Asad called Zoya on the terrace of the college.

"Asad, why you called me here?" asked Zoya.

"I want to say something important to you," replied Asad.

"What important thing?" asked Zoya.

Asad got down on one knee and brought forward a rose which he was hiding behind and said in a soft voice, "I love you, Zoya. I don't know how I got attracted to you from the day we met. Later when we joined the college, I did not realized when I fell in love with you. I am waiting for your reply."

Zoya looked at him emotionally and smiled.

Zoya took the rose from his hand and said softly, "I love you too, Asad. Even I don't know when I fell in love with you. I was planning to confess to you."

"I am so happy that you feel the same for me. I am also happy that I confessed to you first which saved your efforts," said Asad with a smile.

"I am so happy at the idea of us being together," said Zoya with a smile.

While both were talking and smiling in the happiness of their newfound love, one person was watching the scene from the entrance of the terrace with tears in his eyes. He was none other than Veer. He followed Asad and Zoya stealthily till the terrace curious to know what's so important for Asad to tell Zoya at the terrace. He left from there being heartbroken and shattered that Zoya loves someone else. He went to the washroom of the college and cried his heart out recalling the several times he smiled on seeing Zoya or her smile from far. He then sadly recalls the proposal of Asad to Zoya and Zoya accepting it. He wipes his tears.

"I think this is destiny. Asad and Zoya are meant to be together. Zoya is not in my destiny so I should forget about her," said Veer in a defeated voice.

An hour later, SidNi got to know about (AsYa)Asad and Zoya's proposal from them. Veer who was sitting with them acted as if he is coming to know about it along with others. He tried hard to hide his emotions in front of his friends.

Asad and Zoya's respective parents were happy with the relationship of their children when Asad and Zoya told them about the same that evening. Their siblings too were very happy with their relationship. Asad and Zoya decided to date for few years and marry only when they are settled in their lives.

2 years later

Mumbai 2013

AsYa, SidNi and Veer are done with their MBA. Najma and Imraan are doing MBA. The 5 friends have joined their respective family businesses. SidNi got married 2 weeks after their MBA completion. A week later of SidNi marriage, AsYa got engaged but decided to marry a year later. No one came to know about Veer's love for Zoya as he never talked about the same. Imraan and Najma are dating each other from a year while Ayaan and Humeira are dating each other from a month. Ajay and Aseema have a 2 year old son named Abhiroop. Aseema is pregnant again with her second baby. Tanushree and Nisha are still unmarried like their cousins Zoya and Humeira as they did not got any good alliance till now. Their parents are shocked that a modern girl like Zoya is engaged to Asad and Humeira who is also a modern girl was dating Ayaan but their own daughter's alliance is not still fixed when they always bragged about them being cultured.

On the next day of engagement, AsYa goes for a lunch date at a restaurant. As they waited for their orders, they talked about their own business start-up.

"We are getting married the next year," said Zoya.

"Because we have decided that we will get married after we start our own business and build our dream house for which we need 1 year," said Asad.

"We have not yet decided about our business," said Zoya.

"I got an idea of starting a cafe which we have to visit just once or twice a week for office work while other days we will be helping our family business," said Asad.

"Cafe idea is great, Asad," said Zoya with a smile.

"Glad that you liked it," said Asad with a smile.

AsYa started working on their cafe project after buying a one floor shop with their own earnings. Within just 2 weeks, their cafe work was ready. A week later, their cafe started running after recruitment process of cafe was done.

1 year later

Mumbai 2014

AsYa's cafe had become a great success. Their family was very proud of their hard work. AsYa bought their dream house. 2 weeks later of buying their dream house they decided to get married finally after dating for 3 years. Ayaan and Humeira are doing MBA. Aseema had a daughter Amisha. Tanushree and Nisha were still unmarried as people found them to be so fake and show off. Khan mansion was being beautifully decorated for Asad and Zoya's wedding. Tonight was AsYa's wedding which was happening after the rituals of haldi, mehndi and sangeet.

Zoya is sitting before the mirror in the room of a marriage hall wearing a red lehenga. Zeenat, Humeira, Roshni and some other women are getting her ready.

"You both are finally getting married. Its such a good news," said Roshni.

"You and Sid are also giving a good new to us," said Zoya making Roshni blush.

Roshni was 1 month pregnant which she and Sid recently found out.

"You and Asad too will give that good news after 2 years," said Roshni.

It was Zoya's turn to blush.

Suddenly, they hear some band noises.

"Baraat has come," said Humeira excitedly.

Scene shifts outside the house where Khan family was coming with baraat. Asad was sitting on a rath with some relatives kids while his parents, Najma, Ayaan, Sid, Veer and some relatives were dancing as the band played. Asad was wearing a beige sherwani and maroon turban. As the rath stops, Najma and Ayaan helps Asad get down the rath and makes him also dance with them.

"You are very excited," said Najma with a smile.

"He surely is as he waited a lot for this moment," said Ayaan with a smile.

Asad did not said anything but just smiled at them.

Asad and others enter the door of the wedding venue. Zoya's family welcomes them with aartis and garlands before they came inside. Zoya was brought outside of the changing room by her family and friends. Asad and Zoya are mesmerized as they see each other and smile a bit. Zoya is made to stand at the mandap by Imraan and Humeira. Asad is made to stand before Zoya by Najma and Ayaan.

The pandit starts the wedding rituals and chants the mantras. The pandit instructs them to put varmala(garlands) on each other which they do happily. Then AsYa are made to sit next to each other for remaining wedding rituals. After sometime, Asad fills Zoya's maang with sindoor and ties mangalsutra around her neck as instructed by the pandit. Their families and friends smile at this.

"Now, both of you stand up for the pheras," said the pandit.

AsYa stood up and starts taking the rounds of the holy fire for saat phere ritual. They stopped after circling the fire seven times.

"From now, you both are husband and wife. Wish you both a happy married life. Now, take the blessings of your elders," said the pandit.

AsYa touched the feet of their elders taking their blessings. AsYa's families, relatives and friends wished them happy married life.

"When is the feast. I am getting hungry?" asked Haseena getting restless.

"When is the time you are not hungry?" muttered Zeenat under her breath.

"Did you said something?" asked Haseena.

"No," replied Zeenat, "The feast will be in few minutes."

"Now you are relieved of one out of two burden," said Gazalla with a smile.

Zoya, her siblings and parents got angry.

"Zoya and Humeira are our daughters not burden," said Zeenat firmly.

"Even after living in London for so many years, you all have such a low thinking about daughters being a woman yourself," said Humeira in a disgusted tone.

"You all getting upset with any reason. Gazalla said right only," said Razzak.

"You all purposely upsetting us," said Imraan irritated with them.

Asad and his family too were angry with what Gazalla said.

"I did not expected you to say such a thing even at the wedding. Please if you all can't say anything good then at least keep quiet," said Asad unhappily.

"All of you please don't upset us more with your words," requested Anwar calmly.

"Leave all these talks. Lets go for feast now," said Zeenat.

Everyone went towards the eating area.

After feast, it was time for bidaai. Zoya cried as she hugged her family and friends.

"No need to cry, Zoya. Your family lives in front of our house only," teased Asad.

Zoya smiled and wiped her tears while others laughed.

Asad got into the car and Zoya sat on the drivers seat. Asad's parents and siblings sat in another car. Their car left before AsYa's car.

"No need to say goodbyes to your family because...," said Asad.

"...our house is in front of my families house," Zoya completed his sentence.

"Not my but ours," said Asad with a smile.

Zoya's parents and siblings smiled at their talks.

"Take care of our child," said Anwar emotionally.

"Sure dad," said Asad with a smile and started the car.

AsYa reached the Khan Mansion. Rashid, Dilshad, Najma and Ayaan have reached before them. Najma tells Zoya to kick the rice urn lightly with her rightly leg which Zoya does before coming inside. Dilshad does aarti of AsYa. AsYa touches her and Rashid's feet to take their blessings. Zoya then stands in a thali of coloured water and then walks forward leaving red footprints behind.

Dilshad and Najma takes Zoya to Asad's room which is now Zoya's room also. The room was decorated with flowers, aromatic candles and decorated curtains. The rooms smelt of pleasant perfume. They made Zoya sit on the bed.

"Asad will come now," said Dilshad with a smile.

Dilshad and Najma left the room while Zoya waited for Asad to come. Asad moved towards his room but Najma blocked his way.

"Bhaiyya, first give me bribe and then enter," teased Najma.

Asad smiled amusingly and gave her a bundle of notes.

"Now, you can go inside," said Najma with a smile.

Asad entered the room and shut the door. Zoya felt someone enter and looked up to see it was Asad. She got nervous. Asad looked at Zoya who was sitting on the bed. Her face was glowing due to moonlight. He smiled at her as he moved towards the bed. She smiled back at him. He sat on the before her and took her hands in his'.

"I am so happy that we both are finally married," said Asad with a smile kissing her hands lovingly.

"Me too," said Zoya with a smile.

"I want to only go ahead if you are ready," said Asad.

"I am ready from a very long time," said Zoya.

Asad smiled and removed the pallu off her head. She smiled signaling him to go ahead. He held her face and kissed her lips. Zoya responded to the kiss. Both poured all their emotions, love and passion in the kiss. It was not their first kiss but it was their first kiss as a husband and a wife. They kissed each other till they ran out of breath. Soon the night resulted in reunion of 2 souls.

Next morning, the sunrays passed through the curtains of the room touching two lovebirds who were still lying peacefully in each others' arms after their consummation last night. Asad woke up first and looked sideways to see his love still in his arms. He smiled and brushed her locks lovingly. Zoya opened her eyes as she woke up to see Asad already awake and smiling at her.

She too smiled and said, "Good morning, Asad."

"Good morning, Zoya," said Asad with a smile.

"This is our first morning as a wife and a husband," said Zoya with a smile.

"Our all mornings will be the same forever," said Asad with a smile.

They got out of their embrace and sits up.

"We waited so long to get married after dating for 3 years," said Asad.

"Yes," said Zoya.

"Where do you want to go for our honeymoon?" asked Asad.

"I have not decided," replied Zoya.

"I think we should first go to London. We will also visit your house there. Then we can go for Europe tour. How is this idea?" asked Asad.

"Awesome," replied Zoya happily.

"We should get ready for breakfast," said Asad.

"I will go and bath first," said Zoya.

"I think we should bath together today," said Asad with a smile.

"Nice idea," said Zoya with a smile.

AsYa went to the bathroom together shutting the door behind them.

Precap: #Leap of 2 years.AsYa's 2nd wedding anniversary followed by Imraan and Najma'wedding a month later.

#A week after Imraan and Najma's wedding, Zoya finds that she is pregnant and tells about it to both her and Asad's families. She decides to surprise Asad with this good news. She goes to her room and saw Asad standing near their. She then saw her suitcase packed and kept on the bed.

"Asad, why you have packed my suitcase?" asked Zoya.

"Because you are leaving the house," replied Asad.

"Asad, stop joking," said Zoya.

"I am not joking but serious, Zoya. I can't live with you anymore. I want a divorce. For now, get lost from this house," said Asad in a cold tone.

Zoya was shocked as she realized that he is serious.

"Why are you saying like this?" asked Zoya shockingly.

Asad did not replied but just grabbed her hand with his right hand while holding her suitcase with his left hand. He started taking her outside their room. There was no one in the hall. Zoya kept on telling him to leave her hand but he did not listened. Zoya forgot about her pregnancy news in all this.

"Asad stop, don't this," said Zoya in a hurt voice.

"Zoya, you are leaving this house," said Asad firmly.

When he was about to pull her outside the door she felt a hand holding her hand. Zoya and Asad looked behind to see Dilshad looking at them confusingly.

A/N: This is really a fast moving story but from part 3 the speed will lessen a bit😊. After a pleasing part 2 the precap was more pleasing ending a shock. I assure everyone that there will be no domestic violence scenes from Asad in my story but he may do something which we will not like. Zoya will not be helpless at all.
