Friends, while I did share my indiscretion of last night through an earlier post, asking the males to reveal themselves (😛), this snooping activity did astound me with a few revelations.
And I want to raise a toast - toast to us, ZKM forumwaasis.
Let me tell you why.
First of all, I was going through some of these other forums which are above and immediately below us (well, as I mentioned earlier, as part of my competition assessment to reach the top of IF 🤓).
I was left stunned on seeing some of the threads - members were bashing each other, calling each other vile names, spewing venom. There was no place of individual opinion or for that matter, an alternate point of view. Calling out actors on looks and degrading them. It was a free for all environment, one which festered so much negativity.
And cut to our forum - I would specially like to contextualise the shaurya vs. Kanta debate. We have handled this so beautifully, each side listening to the other with patience and rationality, accepting views.. and respecting members with alternate views from oneselves..
While, we think this is common across all forums (atleast I believed so until last night), this is qite unusual - this level of camaraderie and the immediate connect we have with each other. We must be super proud of our little ZKM family here.. no two ways about it and celebrate ZKM for bringing like minded individuals together. 👏🤗
Second, revisiting part of my earlier point - members bashing each other and regressive thinking.
I was appalled to see someone comment on another member in another fourm - do you want to get raped or something like that??!! 😲
Again, in the light of the molestation incident of ZKM, and how we members felt that track deserved more sensitivity, here there were people making a joke of it, when the track was not even about rape (figured from what I was reading). Came across comments like gals should adjust.. whatever be it.. husband is god.. who is she to leave him even if he does that.. he is husband.. she is gal.. blah and blah and blah..
Toxic! pure toxic forums!!
Therefore, I would like to raise a Toast to all of us here and ZKM too - long live the camaraderie and love! Touchwood!😊
ZKM has its small heart in its right place coz as they say.. tedha hai par mera hai.. logic.. no logic.. we all still love it and watch it.. coz if nothing gained, we still have this little world of us here.. 😳
