I wish they atleast clear the house eviction MU cos its just plain odd to see everyone acting normal. I wonder what Dev will do in future if Soha demands the following-

1. Get Sona married to someone else..He'll probably cry alone but say yes and readily agree...True Devdas style
2. Once they reconcile, she insists on sleeping in between her parents every single day..no doubts here, his first love will always be Soha in S2 as Ish used to be in S1. He'll say YES my love, anything for you.😆
3. She hooks up with a brat like Vicky after growing up...He'll say YES like Bijoy agreed for Sona and Elena's marriage😆

😆
So, I doubt if there is a case where Dev will say NO to suhana in near future...I'm very curious if CVs can show this one instance.

In current spoilers and segments

Dev is professing his love for Suhana. As he used to in S1 for Ishwari.
The segments reminded me of the award function in S1 where Dev acknowledges and professes his love and respect for his mother.

*Sigh*...will I ever get to see a day when Dev publicly acknowledges Sona for atleast something.
CVs need to prove this show is progressive...show blood isn't thicker than water...plsss...its irritating to always see apna aakhir apna hi hota hai logic everywhere...seriously!!

Darlings, the thing here is though that we can keep on hoping Dev to EVER stand up for Sonakshi in front of the world, but it can only happen if his Mummy is not in hearing distance. Let's face it, Dev loses his voice in front of his mother unless he is drinking alcohol which he also promptly forgets in the next instance he gets sober.

The second thing is that Dev has a pattern. The pattern is that he tries to buy affection with indulgence - be it money, be it bending over backward to please someone, be it changing everything including preference/routine, be it letting them walk all over him etc etc etc.

He likes to be one of those old-fashioned patriarch with his flocks who are happy and prospering because he provided for them as long as they never even dream about having their own independence and/or leaving his protection.

I still think, he would have been happier with a subservient, docile woman because she will be happy to be spoiled and won't ever try to cross the boundary he and his mother set for her. In short, he should have married Shruti type.

Sonakshi on the other hand, wanted equal partnership. She wanted to be the right arm of her husband, not his bed on which he lies down when his mood strikes and rest of the time keeps waiting in his room for him.

She would have been happier with someone who could be one unit with her against the world and tackle all problems together. In short, she should have married Jatin type.

Now because of Soha's demands this utterly incompatible people are again tied together. Do they have attraction between them? Yes. But attraction burns fast and turns to ashes even faster. And Dev and Sona only have attraction between them.

Because true love gives strength, it gives courage, it makes people take risks with even the most unlikely partners, it makes you stand proudly by your love. None of these are present between them.

Heck, Dev could not even stand up against his family for his wife. Even if he stands up today because Suhana will feel bad for her mother, then what's the use? He is standing up for Suhana, not Sonakshi.

That means he loves Suhana enough to think that she is worth fighting for. But he doesn't love Sonakshi enough to make her worthy enough.

And which woman will leave her bitter past behind to spend her life with a man who will never think her worth fighting for beyond what now her daughter deems as worthy just as previously her worth was determined by her mother-in-law?

😃 😃 Its quite unnatural that in reality people behave so normally with persons who have had a hand in ruining their lives (their view). Here it's shown that Sonakshi is willing to do anything for Dev-Suhana togetherness! Even sleeping with the enemy!!!?? Or rather sharing the same bed. I know it's pure entertainment but nevertheless, Sonakshi's character has been twisted so much that the post leap Sonakshi has disappeared into thin air. Yes, I agree that it's important to understand mistakes and I am not for dramatic dialogues and confrontations, so if the Creatives have chosen a convenient and subtle methods to set things right, so be it.

I personally think Mily that expecting Bijoy to throw a welcome mat for Dev is asking for the moon. What he faced by the Dixits, had Ishwari faced even a fraction of that, Dev would have ripped Bose family apart and make Sona grovel for mercy.

But then Dev is a loyal son.

Now coming to Bijoy, the reason he is tolerable even in grumpy mood is because his and his family's equation. When he is grumpy and sulking, his family do not dance to his tunes. They either try to coax him into joining them or let him grumble on his own.

The reason Ishwari is intolerable is because her equation with her family. When Ishwari grumbles or sulks, her family including Dev starts dancing to her tunes at the cost of every other people in his life. In season 2, no one has been able to control her. Why? Because people talk to her as if she is an innocent baby and when she goes against everyone's will, they say oopsy, baby did a boo boo.

In case of Bijoy, his family treats him like an adult and holds him accountable for his actions.

That's why, Bijoy is tolerable. Ishwari is not. He can play stupid games. But Ishwari can cause massive harm.

oh cut the lame explanations...of course our naughty dev has many plans in dixit house...to increase bijoy's bp...to make saurav equal size of sona...to make sona jobless...and finally (i believe) to kick jatin out of this house...
ok now for soha wanting to sleep with her parents...i guess first of all dev wanting to sleep with soha and sona not wanting to go to guest room...secondly yes even i hvnt slept with my parents...but then my parents r not divorced and i did not get to see them tog for the first time wen i was six...from very early age i was shifted to a separate room where my elder sis also slept...so i was accustomed to that...

but soha never got to know that she shud not sleep with her parents...and secondly dev and sona also do not hv the urge to sleep widout soha between them...wat they showed is actually right considering soha's parents r separated...but as i said it started with dev wanting to sleep with her and sona not wanting to go to guest room...if sona wud hv agreed immediately then soha may not hv insisted both of them to sleep with her...

Yes isn't it? Honestly her sarcasm was on point and I think every word she spoke was a bullet aimed at this double standard of a society. Its just so sad that each and everything said was hella true.
