What in the world just happened?? I'm really confused.
Shivaay got out?.. ACP has reappeared. And Mahi just got a blockbuster opening scene to his story.
(Umm, did ACP just rescue Shivaay perhaps? Gosh, my brain is going round and round like a jalebi right now!)
And my.. what a performance by Nakuul! It was definitely framed as a new entry into the show.
Mahi.
So much like Annika, yet so bleak an outlook. I really felt like whisking him away from this monster he calls "Ma". Poor abused lad. He had a mom, unlike Annika, and yet cruelly, she was the tormentor in his life.
Nakuul breathed so much life in him, I was crying for him already. All in 20 mins. Darn it, this guy is too good.
Kamini keeps saying she had him, and he is the reason she is in this state in life. Disgraced and poor. Calling him "bad luck" to her, she relishes every stab into his heart she makes. Somebody save this man please.!! 😭
He comes to save her from being kicked out, and yet she abuses him. Then everybody gangs up on him also, calling him "naa jayaz" and he has some serious beef with that word. It really boils his blood and unleashes a rage so deep and uncontrollable.
He had to be torn off from his prey and banished from the house by his mother. All sorts of ugly things she says to him. Utterly heartbreaking. He staggers away looking like nothing I can put in words.
Those black eyes they have given him look so bleak and bottomless with grief. So much pain. He suddenly dunks his head in water and comes out defiantly rebellious.
Annika had Sahil. Mahi has no one.
This has suddenly turned into Mahi's story. I'm not sure if this is a flashback story for Annika's benefit, because Mahi is in no hurry to go back to OM, to pretend to be Shivaay again. And that was disconcerting.
Annika sees Mahi dancing, and then sees Shivaay right there in the middle of the street ,like an apparition. Annika grabs him , caresses his face , worried and happy at the same time.
She stutters about this other man, and they both watch him , dancing away his troubles. Shivaay is looking dead serious and although he is so glad to see Annika, his response is stilted as though carrying the weight of a heavy discovery. Kuch toh gadbad hai... you can see it in his face.
Shhh, he says. Leave all this, first I will hold you tight because you seem like the only constant in my life right now, I'm not sure of anything else.
And she holds him as tight as she can. And he stands there with her in this tortured expression, allowing Annika to just envelop him into herself. Gawd, the angst!! *faints*
Later, Mahi goes back to his Ma, finds ACP there. ACP calls her Mausi, so a brother of sorts to Mahi? This is so confusing ... then who is Daksh? 😕...more unravelling required.
But she throws him out again, and he walks away to sit alone , blowing a sad tune on his harmonica.
Precap: A staged expose of Mahi in Oberoi Mansion? But they are in their Holi clothes? Yeh Ho Kya Raha Hai??
P/s: standing ovation to Nakuul for his awesome new avatar. Just one episode and I am feeling so many things for him already. 😭
