Rohini Hattangadi?

Loved her a lot, saw her in many movies (Gandhi, three telugu movies, Munnabhai MBBS, even Arth I think) when I was small but now she has just vanished it seems?

But i like her more in the older roles she played, like in 3 telugu movies - Siva, Sitaramyyagari manavaralu, Raatri... somehow, I associate her with 'grandma'.. 😳

Yes I liked her in Gandhi... It was her most famous role... but she later lamented that bcz of that role she was forever typecast as 'mother'... She had to play mother to heroes older than her ( as it was common in those days)

The worst case was that of Rakhi- played girlfriend to AB in one film and then his mum in another.
