"I don't know her... and excuse me, What in the world made you think I will know such a girl..." rudra snorted in disgust; making sure saumya heard him. His peripheral vision on the poor girl who was just staring at him in shock. He wanted her to run away from there and never return. How he wish he could delete her from his life, memory and heart. His heart was unwritten before she entered his life and became his purpose of life besides his brothers. But now his heart is inscribed - with her memories, her love and her betrayal - and there is no space left for anybody else. She was his one and only.
As saumya took a step towards Rudra, he smiled at the girl who was talking to him, unaware of the fact that his focus of attention was someone else. How he wished she would pull that girl away and throw herself in his arms - then may be kiss and make up. But the very next instant he remembered that this was the same girl who has cheated on him and how he himself saw her being kissed by that ro-yaan guy. Without having second thoughts, Rudra leaned into the girl and captured her lips in a kiss.
Saumya was just a few steps away from Rudra who was smiling at a random girl and then he did the unbelievable - he kissed her. Saumya couldn't believe her eyes and wished someone would wake her up from this horrible nightmare. This cant be happening when this was the guy who never left a chance of confessing his love for her. The one who claimed to love her till the end of time. The one who made her believe in love and fairy tales.
Kisssing someone was never a big deal until this moment. Rudra immediately regretted kissing that random girl for it made him feel nothing; when kissing HER was the nearest thing to bliss and made him feel a rush of happiness and million other emotions. He broke the kiss and hoped saumya would have been gone by now. He wanted to hurt her the way she hurt him and make sure she knows how he felt back then but it felt like he was breaking his own heart.
"you should have not done that Rudra..."
"Excuse me... Do I know you Ms.. Ms. Whatever...??" Rudra replied, trying to avoid eye contact. Who knows he might pull her into his arms and tell her he hates seeing her cry.
Saumya held Rudra's hand and pulled him to the college basement which was secluded almost all the time.
"What is bloody wrong with you...??" saumya asked.
"Why have you brought me here..?? Were you jealous baby..??" Rudra asked saumya leaning dangerously into her, leaving no space between them practically.
"Baby why are you behaving like this..??" saumya asked, utterly confused by the changed behaviour of her boyfriend.
"Do you want me to kiss you...??" Rudra asked looking straight into her eyes and cupping her cheeks.
Before Saumya could even register what Rudra said, he crashed his lips to hers. When minutes back he couldn't feel anything kissing that girl, this was exactly the opposite. Kissing her felt so right and that he didn't realise how hungrily was he kissing her. His lips devouring hers and his body crushing hers in the process. He pulled away just to drop kisses all over her face and then sucking biting nipping at the skin of the nape of her neck. She was breathing heavily now and was almost breathless when he sucked at her collarbone.
"Was he better..?? Did he kiss you like this baby...??" Rudra whispered huskily in Saumya's ear and licked just below her earlobe making her moan. But soon he realised what he said and regretted it.
It was not long enough when Saumya realised what Rudra whispered. She pushed him away harshly and looked at him in a way that tore his heart and scarred her memory of his for ever.
"what did you just say...??" Saumya asked wiping the tears rolling down her cheeks.
"forget that I said it... let's just forget it baby..." said Rudra and pushed her against a wall, pressing his lips against him passionately, as if she was the air he needed to breathe. He needed her to keep himself sane.
Saumya stood against the wall frozen, while Rudra proved to himself that she was his and only he had the right to touch her. She felt him pulling her closer and reaching for her hand, wrapping it around his neck. Too bad, he didn't even realize that she was not affected by his touch and moreover she didn't even kiss him back. Not even once.
Soon he broke the kiss and looked at her with rage in his eyes. What was she trying to do..?? Why didn't she kiss him back..?? Did she feel nothing...??
Saumya looked at Rudra for a minute and then looked away. The rage in his eyes didn't scare her for the first time... she was way too distracted and hurt by his words to be scared of him. At least not now.
"Why did you not kiss me back...?? Why am I not enough for you now...?? Why..??" Rudra asked saumya after controlling his anger towards her.
"because I don't know you anymore... you are not the Rudra I loved..." Saumya replied without any hesitation.
"As if you are the same girl I thought you would be... No one would have imagined that this would be the real you... your true colours make me feel like a fool... A fool who believed in your so called simplicity honesty and love"
"My so called love... true colours... what is it all about huh...??" saumya asked.
"Aww... innocence of this sweet little girl I tell you..." remarked Rudra.
"Why are you so rude to me rudra...?? Why are you hurting me..??"
"because I regret falling for you... I should have never let you in and give you the power to hurt me like this... I gift wrapped my heart and presented it to you; hoping you would cherish it. But you played with my heart and then smashed it on the floor breaking it into pieces..."
"And I thought out of all the people, you would never misunderstand me... But here are you accusing me of something that I haven't done... I'm not a heartbreaker... you used to be one Mr. Casanova.. In fact you are still one... You were kissing that random girl in front of me and even said you don't know me... what a player...!! A big round of applause..." said Saumya and clapped her hands with tears visible in her eyes.
"Isn't it amazing you are accusing me of something that you did to me...?? You kissed rehaan and then here are we discussing why I kissed a random girl... you know when I think how much you hurt me and how I wish I could hurt you... I don't know what to do... because I would be rather hurting myself worse If I try to hurt you... you can't even think how I felt when I kissed that girl... I felt nothing... nothing at all... Because I can only feel for you... It is still you even after knowing you were cheating behind my back..."
"I never kissed Rehaan... but thanks for telling me how low you think of me... I'm not going to explain anything to you... You can hate me if you want... because I really don't care... I'm not up to be with a guy who doesn't trusts me enough..."
"I saw you guys sucking faces Saumya..." screamed Rudra and pushed Saumya against the wall.
"And you believed it...?? Just like that...??" Saumya asked in disbeief.
"No... well I didn't really see your face... I saw him pulling you towards him and all I saw was his head angled... shit... He didn't kiss you... Did he...??"
"If he did, I would have kicked him hard... really hard... But that doesn't make you less of a player and a pinhead jealous boyfriend Mr. Rudra Singh Oberoi..."
Saumya looked at Rudra with a 'don't ever doubt me else I will kill you' look.
"It is all your fault... " blamed Rudra.
"my fault..?? How is that...??"
"kyunki tum bahot achi ho... tum ladki nahi angel ho... aur tumhe har koi paana chahta hai Saumya.. har ladka tum jaisi ladki ko chahega... And it scares me.. Tum meri ho... You are copyright protected by me sumo... No one can touch you except me... Sorry I reacted like a fool... A caveman to be honest... But I was deeply hurt baby... that rehaan has been friends with you from a long time, you guys even had a history in high school. I got insecure... Trust me when I say I just realized that I didn't actually see you guys kissing... I made that up like a mad man..."
"mad man... A cruel mad man in fact... worst boyfriend ever... you kissed that chipkali in front of me... why...?? To make me jealous... woww... I would have committed a murder today If I wasn't hurt by your announcement of not knowing me... bach gyi woh ladki aaj lekin tum nahi bachoge... You will have to pay for it..." said saumya, keeping her hands on her waist.
"Theek hai Saumya Ji... meri izzat ab aapke haathon mein hain... main har keemat bharne ki liye taiyaar hoon swami..." rudra said in an abla naari' style being the melodramatic guy he was.
Saumya couldn't help but giggle at this melodramatic side of her boyfriend. The side which only she knew; besides his family and his brothers.
"Main apki raatein rangeen kar dungi swami... Trust me..." Rudra said playfully as he pulled Saumya back into his arms and lovingly kissed the tip of her nose.
"I trust you..."
Saumya whispered and hid her already red face in his chest, while he smiled and continued hugging her.
